Привіт всім у спільноті.
Не вперше чую твердження того, що лиш пізнавши культуру та познайомившись із традиціями, можна зрозуміти іншу націю та зуміти вивчити їх мову. Дійсно, це є вірним. Адже багато словесних зворотів, назв предметів та дій повністю відображають спосіб життя і мислення нації. А ще говорять про те, що потрібно полюбити мову, яку хочеш вивчити, створити собі кумира, так би мовити, який приналежний до цієї мови. Треба хотіти щось пізнати, щоб реально вдалася вивчити.
Я на собі трішки відчула правильність всіх цих порад. Перше, чим мене аргументувало вивчення англійської, то почуття, до якого я зовсім не звикла. Можливо це не дуже хороша риса характеру, яку можна навіть назвати гординею, але я відверто зізнаюся, що не звикла відчувати себе дурнішою за інших. І коли чую, як більшість знайомих, без будь-яких надмірних зусиль переходять на англійську мову у спілкуванні, то почуття своєї недосконалості та меншовартості аж затоплює. Я відверто від цього сержуся, страждає моє самолюбство. От я й сказала собі, що таки не гірша. Це було рушійною силою, що змушувало мене щодня відкривати онлайн уроки та намагатися покращити власні знання. Пізніше прийшло розуміння того, що мені навіть подобається це. Коли почала частково розуміти тексти пісень, коли почала впізнавати в розмові те, що сама вивчила, то зрозуміла, що зусилля не пропадають марно.
Зараз слухаю підкасти та вчуся говорити в голос. Саме цей розмовний бар'єр у власній голові найскладніше перебороти. Англійці будують по іншому свої речення та висловлювання. Стала помічати, що почала трішки переймати цю манеру, коли говорю рідною мовою. Це звучить кострубато і ріже слух, але мені навіть подобається це нове у моїй повсякденній мові. Вважаю, що з'являється звичка і для мене це добре.
Дивлюся навчальний фільм англійською, розумію що таким чином пізнаю ще й спосіб життя, звички та культуру британців. Адже теми, які там обговорюються, типу шопінг чи подорожі, демонструюють їх ментальність.
Ось такі в мене роздуми та висновки. Можливо хтось зі мною не погодиться, але для мене це є своєрідним рушійним аспктом у продовженні самостійного опанування чужої мови.

It's not the first time I've heard the statement that only by getting to know the culture and traditions can you understand another nation and be able to learn their language. Indeed, this is true. After all, many verbal turns, names of objects and actions fully reflect the way of life and thinking of the nation. And they also say that you need to love the language you want to learn, create an idol for yourself, so to speak, who belongs to this language. You have to want to know something in order to actually learn it.
I personally felt the correctness of all these tips. The first thing that motivated me to study English was a feeling that I was not used to at all. Perhaps this is not a very good character trait, which can even be called pride, but I frankly admit that I am not used to feeling stupider than others. And when I hear how most of my acquaintances, without any excessive effort, switch to the English language in communication, the feeling of their imperfection and inferiority overwhelms me. I am frankly angry about this, my self-esteem suffers. So I told myself that I am not worse. This was the driving force that made me open online lessons every day and try to improve my own knowledge. Later came the understanding that I even like it. When I started to partially understand the lyrics of the songs, when I started to recognize in the conversation what I had learned myself, I realized that the efforts are not wasted.
Now I listen to podcasts and learn to speak in a voice. It is this conversational barrier in one's own head that is the most difficult to overcome. The English construct their sentences and expressions differently. I began to notice that I began to adopt this manner a little when I speak my native language. It sounds stilted and jarring, but I even like it new in my everyday language. I believe that a habit appears and it is good for me.
I watch an educational film in English, I understand that in this way I will also get to know the way of life, habits and culture of the British. After all, the topics discussed there, such as shopping or travel, demonstrate their mentality.
These are my thoughts and conclusions. Perhaps someone will not agree with me, but for me this is a kind of driving aspect in the continuation of independent mastering of a foreign language.
