The social media finance space - A guide
Do not let or allow what you see in the social media financial space influence you into overthinking yourself because the lifestyle you see is most likely the opposite of what it seems to be. You are not a child anymore and you should have an understand that most of the things you see are likely not to be real. They’re merely cosmetic representations. Packaging in high places. No one has everything figured out. No one is having it easy. Absolutely no one. You should learn to give yourself some credit for how far you have come on this journey of running a business in Africa.
It’s a daily battle of stress, financial burden, emotional roller coaster, witchcraft, etc. We all know that it is good to sometimes give yourself some credit for all the hard work but you must as well understand that you do not have to rest in your accolades. You have keep moving, keep learning, keep improving, keep growing, keep building. If you desire to grow your business, you must keep looking for ways to improve on your offerings, customer experience, marketing, sales, etc. While you work hard securing the bag, you should also make room for merriments. Learn to celebrate your small wins.
Pop bottles (if it’s your thing), take smoothies, chop pepper-soup, go for karaoke, go to the beach, visit a resort… just do what works for you. Live life. This is for my boys, As a young boy still struggling to come up and help your family, you should avoid looking for beautiful girls with expensive entitlement. Unless you got lamba and small doings like some of us. By boys, I will tell you this, if you truly understands and know where you are coming from, then you will understand that puting your focus and energy on women and fashion designs are not necessary especially when you are striving to build yourself.
Your focus should be on relationships that will help you achieve more, become more and attain more. Your focus should be on enriching yourself with knowledge, skills, and value systems that will help you grow and flourish. You must knowledge the fact that your ambitions will be drained away if your focus and goals are lost. Chasing women is expensive. Attracting women is not. Stop chasing. Work on yourself. Become better and you’ll begin to attract better. Take it from a comrade who has been there done that.
