SEMANA 18 DE EMBARAZO (ESP/ENG)

Acabo de terminar la semana 18 de mi segundo embarazo y realmente lo he sentido diferente al primero, sobre todo porque las cosas van más rápido que en aquella ocasión. Por ejemplo, empecé a sentirme pesada desde unos dos meses antes que el primer embarazo, con dolor de cadera constantemente.

I just finished the 18th week of my second pregnancy and it has really felt different from the first, especially because things are going faster than on that occasion. For example, I started feeling heavy about two months before the first pregnancy, with constant hip pain.

En este embarazo me siento más segura ya que ahora sé qué esperar, sé lo que me va a ir pasando mes a mes. En esta ocasión me sentí triste por mi panza, sentía que era demasiado grande 😔 pero todo se remonta a qué padezco colitis desde hace varios años, así que con mis dos embarazos este síntoma se agrava.en mi primer embarazo sentía que no podía ni respirar, el bebé de por sí empujaba mis órganos y por si fuera poco, mis intestinos estaban muy inflamados por la colitis, así que con todo esto había poco espacio para mis pulmones.

In this pregnancy I feel more secure because now I know what to expect, I know what is going to happen to me month after month. This time I felt sad about my belly, I felt it was too big 😔 but it all goes back to the fact that I have suffered from colitis for several years, so with my two pregnancies this symptom worsens. In my first pregnancy I felt that I couldn't even breathe , the baby was already pushing my organs and to top it off, my intestines were very inflamed from colitis, so with all this there was little room for my lungs.

Ahora en este embarazo también empecé a inflamarme, sobre todo en los primeros meses, algunas de las personas que sabían del bebé empezaron a hacerme comentarios incómodos sobre mi panza, que si me veía gorda, que ahora iba a hacer mucha más panza que con el primer bebé, etc etc, comentarios no pedidos, con nada de empatía y mucho menos prudencia 🙄 a mi realmente me incómoda mucho este tema, ya que siempre he padecido esto y aún cuando no estaba embarazada me llegaban comentarios de que si esperaba bebé 🙄🙄🙄

Now in this pregnancy I also began to swell, especially in the first months, some of the people who knew about the baby began to make uncomfortable comments to me about my belly, that if I looked fat, that now I was going to have much more belly than with the first baby, etc etc, unsolicited comments, with no empathy and much less prudence 🙄 this topic really bothers me a lot, since I have always suffered from this and even when I was not pregnant I received comments that if I was expecting a baby 🙄🙄🙄

Cuando mi primer bebé nació yo quedé con algo de pancita, así que ahora no veía la hora de que mi bebé se notara, ya que contando la inflamación de colitis y la pancita que me había quedado, el bebé estaba como atrapado 😅 sin embargo yo tenía una panza algo grandecita, pero poco a poco se me fue desinflamado, mi panza de bebé se empezó a sentir y a verse, aunque algunos días aún tengo inflamación, pero ya es muchísimo menos que antes.

When my first baby was born I was left with a bit of a belly, so now I couldn't wait for my baby to show, since counting the inflammation of colitis and the belly that I had left, the baby was like trapped 😅 however I I had a somewhat large belly, but little by little it went down, my baby belly began to be felt and seen, although some days I still have inflammation, but it is much less than before.

Las náuseas continúan todavía y en ocasiones vómito. También sigo teniendo un sabor extraño en la boca que jamás se va 🤷🏻‍♀️ por las noches me ha dado ansiedad, me siento incómoda, me dan náuseas, es realmente incómodo dormir, tengo mucho sueño pero me cuesta mucho quedarme dormida.

Nausea still continues and sometimes vomiting. I also still have a strange taste in my mouth that never goes away 🤷🏻‍♀️ at night it has given me anxiety, I feel uncomfortable, they make me nauseous, it is really uncomfortable to sleep, I am very sleepy but I have a hard time falling asleep.

Un síntoma nuevo han sido los bochornos, estamos en invierno y yo a veces tengo mucho calor, han habido noches en que tengo que dormir con una blusa ligera cunado hace bastante frío, aún así de repente despierto sudando.

A new symptom has been hot flashes, we are in winter and sometimes I am very hot, there have been nights when I have to sleep with a light blouse when it is quite cold, even so I suddenly wake up sweating.

Según el desarrollo del bebé, esta semana mi pequeño mide 14.2cm y pesa 190g, sus oídos se han desarrollado y ahora puede escuchar sonidos del exterior y sus nervios se están cubriendo de mielina, una capa protectora.
