SECCIÓN PASEO EN FAMILIA: 'BOSQUE URBANO' / FAMILY WALK SECTION: 'URBAN FOREST'

Este parque tiene 22 años que se fundó en la ciudad de Torreón, México; inicialmente se llamaba 'parque las etnias', era un parque con muchas áreas verdes y era muy conocido porque tenía lagos llenos de patos que nadaban libremente, además vendían comida para alimentarlos. También tenían pavorreales y tortugas. A lo largo de los caminos que recorrían el parque, había bocinas en dónde se escuchaba música tranquila que armonizaba los paseos. Tenía cabañitas dónde vendían comida rápida y snacks.

This 22-year-old park was founded in the city of Torreon, Mexico; Initially it was called 'ethnic groups park', it was a park with many green areas and it was well known because it had lakes full of ducks that swam freely, and they also sold food to feed them. They also had peacocks and turtles. Along the paths that ran through the park, there were speakers where quiet music was heard that harmonized the walks. He had little cabins where they sold fast food and snacks.

Con el tiempo fueron descuidando mucho el cuidado del parque y lucía muy seco, además los animales estaban demasiado descuidados, mal alimentados y el agua donde habitaban estaba bastante sucia. Por este motivo cambió de administración y empezaron a hacer muchos cambios, los animales fueron enviados al parecer a refugios, pero dejaron unos cuantos patos y tortugas, las cuales ahora están en un área protegida del parque, ya no andan libremente por todos lados como antes, tampoco se permite que la gente los alimente.

Over time they were neglecting the care of the park and it looked very dry, in addition the animals were too neglected, poorly fed and the water where they lived was quite dirty. For this reason the administration changed and they began to make many changes, the animals were apparently sent to shelters, but they left a few ducks and turtles, which are now in a protected area of ​​the park, they no longer roam freely everywhere as before, neither are people allowed to feed them.

Cuando este parque fue restaurado, reapareció bajo el nombre de 'bosque urbano' y ahora lucía mucho mejor, sin embargo los que conocimos aquel parque las etnias, lo recordamos con añoranza, ya que tenía cosas muy icónicas que lo hacían especial. Pero eso no quita que ahora sea un buen parque, tiene paisajes muy bonitos y más juegos, además incluyeron juegos mecánicos y un planetario.

When this park was restored, it reappeared under the name of 'urban forest' and now it looked much better; however, those of us who knew that 'the ethnic groups park' remember it with longing, because it had very iconic things that made it special. But that doesn't mean that it is now a good park, it has very beautiful landscapes and more games, they also included mechanical games and a planetarium.

Bueno, sólo quería ponerlos en contexto ya que este parque nos ha dejado bonitos recuerdos a todos los de mi generación ❤️ regresando al paseo familiar... Mi hijo y yo fuimos algo tarde al parque, ya había anochecido, pero a esta hora había más gente 😅 todos los niños con sus cubrebocas, casi no había niños de la edad de Adam, así que le dije que fuéramos a los juegos mecánicos.

Well, I just wanted to put them in context 'cause this park has left beautiful memories for all of my generation ❤️ going back to the family outing ... My son and I went a little late to the park, it was already dark, but at this time there was more people 😅 all the kids with their face masks, there were hardly any kids Adam's age, so I told him to go to the rides.

Al llegar le pregunté si quería subirse a algún juego, intentando animarlo ya que en muy raras ocasiones se quiere subir a estos juegos, en esta ocasión aceptó subirse por primera vez al trenecito, nunca había querido ya que decía que le daba miedo el fuerte ruido que hace al rodar por las vías 🤷🏻‍♀️ pero esta vez fue valiente y decidió subirse. Fue la mejor decisión porque se dió cuenta que dejando del lado el molesto ruido, era divertido.

Upon arrival I asked him if he wanted to get on a game, trying to cheer him up 'cause on very rare occasions he wants to get on these games, this time he agreed to get on the little train for the first time, he had never wanted to because he said he was afraid of the loud noise what it does when rolling on the tracks 🤷🏻‍♀️ but this time he was brave and decided to get on. It was the best decision because he realized that aside from the annoying noise, it was fun.

Después se subió a los carritos eléctricos, primero eligió una camioneta y después se subió a una moto y se la pasó genial! Lo ví tan divertido y feliz 😍 le gustó tanto que al irnos del parque me pidió un carrito de esos para él. Mi esposo ya se iba para la casa, así que me mandó mensaje diciéndome que si pasaba por nosotros, llegó demasiado rápido y nos esperó en la puerta, cuando Adam lo vio le contó muy feliz todo lo que hizo en el parque y le dijo que quería un carrito eléctrico, ambos le dijimos que lo tendría para navidad 😊 así que veremos cómo se porta 😅

Then he got on the electric cars, first he chose a truck and then he got on a motorcycle and had a great time! I saw him so funny and happy 😍 When we left the park he asked me for one of those carrs for him. My husband was already leaving for the house, so he sent me a message saying that if he passed by us, he arrived too fast and waited for us at the door, when Adam saw him he told him very happily about everything he did in the park and told him that he wanted an electric car, we both told him he would have it for Christmas 😊 so we'll see how he behaves 😅
