The mystery of the gargoyles
They say that Solomon, apart from being one of the wisest kings in history, was also a true expert in Occultism.
To the point, that among his magical abilities, there was also that of conjuring and controlling demons to put them at his service.
The most famous case is that of the demon Asmodeus, whom Solomon conjured and enslaved, placing him as the guardian of his famous temple.
Possibly, this is where part of the mystery of the gargoyles comes from, which, apart from their technical function to evacuate rainwater, also have the symbolic function of guardians of the great cathedrals.

Ja, ja, ja...sí, las gárgolas y su misterio. Ese esqueleto, cualquiera sabe, pero por si acaso, yo no me acercaría mucho. Feliz día

Seguro que no, ja ja ja
It's fascinating how many cultures have their versions of gargoyles in their ancient structures... You caught some good ones here, my friend! :) Happy Tuesday!!
I believe, my dear friend, that this indicates how similar we are and how our unconscious shares the same archetypes. You can change the layout, but not the content. A hug
Gargoyle, a Gothic architecture style.
Yes, they are usually typical of this style.
