Magical nature: the Eye of the Fuentona

P1050022_copia.jpg

Nature, in its eternal desire to excel, always offers us extraordinary lessons, where imagination, creativity and beauty eternally go hand in hand to provoke gratifying experiences that make us think, perhaps in an illusory way, how lucky we are as conscious beings, endowed with senses, that although limited, can make us understand their extraordinary greatness. Located in the heart of a Castilian land where contrasts can be extreme, this extraordinary place, known as the source of the Abión river and more popularly as the Ojo de la Fuentona, is a natural wonder, whose vision leaves no one indifferent. Gushing through an intricate system of subterranean galleries that extend into an unknown infinite and from which only a miserable stretch has been explored, the crystalline waters access the surface through a metaphorical oval eye, formed by the millenary erosion of waters and winds, whose perfection made in remote times the different cultures that inhabited the area thought that through it, the gods watched over the actions of men. Believe it or not in said legendary animism, the truth is that it is a place capable of seducing the coldest of spirits, following the guidelines of that great poet of Hindu origin, Rabindranath Tagore, when he said that it is not man who it polishes the pebbles, but the water with its dance and its song. I hope you enjoy this magical place, getting an idea of its uniqueness, watching the accompanying video.

I think the nature has its own rules and dynamic. Whatever happens, it will recover somehow.
