[ENG-SPN] The poetics of other worlds / La poética de los otros mundos

It was those lucky godsons of the Muse, the poets, who conceived, within the subjective mysticism of their inspirational trances, the apparently incredible concept of those other worlds, which, paradoxically, are also in this one, which are generally not we perceive, perhaps, because, as the ancient oriental wisdom affirms, we live permanently prisoners in the World of Maya, that is, in the World of Desires or World of Illusion.

Charged with fragility and subtlety, as that good man Antonio Machado used to say when he described them as soap bubbles, there are those who can perceive them, at least metaphorically speaking, through those imaginary windows, which, deep down, do not stop be those monumental pavilions, full of beauty and symbolism, which are the cloisters of the old monasteries or the porticoed galleries of the prodigious Romanesque architecture.

Fueron esos afortunados ahijados de la Musa, los poetas, quienes concibieron, dentro de la mística subjetiva de sus trances de inspiración, el concepto, aparentemente increíble, de esos otros mundos, que, paradójicamente, están también en éste, los cuales, generalmente no percibimos, quizás, porque, como afirma la milenaria sabiduría oriental, vivimos permanentemente prisioneros en el Mundo de Maya, es decir, en el Mundo de los Deseos o Mundo de la Ilusión.

Cargados de fragilidad y sutileza, como decía aquél buen hombre que fue Antonio Machado cuando los describía como pompas de jabón, hay quien puede percibirlos, siquiera sea, metafóricamente hablando, a través de esas imaginarias ventanas, que, en el fondo, no dejan de ser esos monumentales pabellones, repletos de belleza y simbolismo, que son los claustros de los viejos monasterios o las galerías porticadas de la prodigiosa arquitectura románica.
