There are fortunate cities that, without having suffered the cruel fate of oblivion and depopulation that at the time affected many others, still continue to welcome pilgrims, whose transcendental concerns lead them one day to undertake the immeasurable adventure that is the Saint James Way. Cities, strategically located throughout a geography subtly marked by the stars, that still preserve many of those ancestral keys that provided an esoteric meaning and a deep initiation.

Estella, located in the most fertile part of that Navarre that Aymeric Picaud, author of the Codex Calistinus and therefore, the first guide to the Saint James Way, left behind so badly, is one of them. A city that, apart from preserving great heritage landmarks of Romanesque architecture related to the Way, such as the imposing churches of San Pedro de la Rúa and San Miguel or also the spectacular Palace of the Kings of Navarra, still preserves, despite the inevitable modern modifications, much of its medieval urban essence, very noticeable in the characteristics of its buildings, seen from above.
