Possibly, the origin of this curious invocation and of the popular ditty that evokes it, can be found in this mysterious sanctuary that is located on the outskirts of the town of Infiesto, a few meters ahead of the soulless municipal Funeral Home and on the banks of a river, which barely It is a mess, if we compare it with neighboring Sella, famous because every summer it sees the traditional canoe festival descend from the nearby town of Cangas de Onís.

Posiblemente, el origen de esta curiosa advocación y de la cancioncilla popular que la evoca, se encuentre en este misterioso santuario que se localiza a las afueras del pueblo de Infiesto, algunos metros más adelante del desangelado Tanatorio municipal y a orillas de un río, que apenas es un reguerillo, si lo comparamos con el vecino Sella, famoso porque todos los veranos ve descender, desde la cercana población de Cangas de Onís, la tradicional festividad de las piraguas.
