[ENG-SPN] A poem to the senses / Un poema a los sentidos

There are many traditional places, which, not at all exempt from a peculiar picturesqueness, gratify, simply with their vision, that need for vital experience that also shapes and therefore enriches, that drift of the spirit, latent in every pilgrim, to appreciate the uniqueness and beauty inherent in the transcendental exercise in which you are happily engaged.

Regardless of the symbolism that both Benedictines and Cistercians left, as initiatory keys in hermitages, churches, cathedrals and hospitals, far from being coincidental, the towns and the environments of the different routes that led to that metaphorical sea of spirituality, which Compostela was and continues to be, constituted the perfect revulsion, consecrated within the framework of its significant beauty, of a primordial lesson, which also managed to transform his experience into a gratifying poem, especially aimed at the senses.

Muchos son los lugares tradicionales, que, no exentos, en absoluto, de un peculiar pintoresquismo, gratifican, simplemente con su visión, esa necesidad de experiencia vital que conforma también y por lo tanto, enriquece, esa deriva del espíritu, latente en todo peregrino, a apreciar la singularidad y la belleza inherentes al ejercicio trascendental en el que se encuentra felizmente comprometido.

Independientemente del simbolismo, que, tanto benedictinos como cistercienses fueron dejando, a modo de claves iniciáticas en ermitas, iglesias, catedrales y hospitales, lejos de ser casuales, los pueblos y los entornos de las diferentes rutas que desembocaban en ese metafórico mar de espiritualidad, que era y continúa siendo Compostela, constituían el revulsiva perfecto, consagrado en el marco de su significativa belleza, de una lección primordial, que conseguía que su experiencia, además, se transformara en un gratificante poema, especialmente dirigido a los sentidos.
