Bienvenidos mis queridos viajeros del internet amantes de las series y muchas gracias por haber hecho una parada temporal en mi post, he realizado muchas reseñas a series incompletas siendo pocas las veces que hable de alguna nueva temporada que sea emitida después de mi reseña, es por ello que en este post me enfocaré en hablar únicamente de esas temporadas emitidas después de mi post, y, para que no se haga muy corto hablaré de 2 series en un mismo post. Sin más que agregar preparen sus capas y sus tazas de café que estamos por comenzar.

Ahora bien, la violencia es muy entretenida pero esta puede fácilmente tornarse repetitiva es por ello que resulta inteligente el giro que dan en esta temporada para generar conflictos, batallas y situaciones tensas, si bien esto mantiene el foco visceral de la serie de ser brutal le da cierto aire fresco a los diferentes enfrentamientos puesto que trabaja de forma decente todo aquel trabajo que dejó la temporada anterior.

Lo anterior fue una acción acertada puesto que otro elemento al que también se la da mucho foco es a las interacciones entre personajes la cual juega un papel fundamental para generar tensión y situaciones complejas a causa de problemas no sanados del pasado y fricciones inaguantables.

The Boys en esta temporada lo hizo bastante bien al enfocarse en darle un poco más de profundidad a la serie al desarrollar de forma decente tanto a sus personajes como a las relaciones que hay entre estos, dándoles así un poco más de congruencia y facilitando la empatía por estos. Es debido a lo anterior que esta temporada se merece 3.5 estrellas de 7 y consolidándose de momento como la mejor temporada que ha tenido esta serie.

Después de limpiarnos la sangre y quitarnos el trabaje de héroe lo mejor es disfrutar con una taza de café siendo que de tazas va el asunto, The Cuphead Show es una serie animada que siempre ha buscado tirar de lo simple y absurdo para entretener, es lo que caracterizo su primera temporada y lo que se mantuvo en la nueva, sin embargo es menester destacar que se añaden chistes un poco más oscuros y terroríficos (De los cuales soy muy fanático) estos ya tenían presencia previa pero es en esta temporada en donde tienen una mayor presencia y deja entrar nuevos elementos cómicos que se adaptan muy bien a lo que ya se había establecido. De forma muy reducida se habla del pasado de algunos personajes y esto es un acierto debido a que no encajaría en el carácter de la serie algo más profundo y serio; lo mismo pasa con algunos episodios que presentan ciertos matices de continuidad para dar sentido al desenlace final siendo nuevamente una decisión lógica y acertada.

The Cuphead Show logra mantenerse fresco añadiendo la cantidad de elementos necesarios para evitar tornarse repetitivo y monótono, conserva los niveles de absurdo que lo hacen algo muy ameno y agradable siendo también que añade un poco de comedia terrorífica que no le viene nada mal. Es por todo ello que sigue conservando sus 4 estrellas de 7 y sigue siendo una opción más que recomendada para esos momentos en los que se busca solo reír y desconectar el cerebro.

Me acabas de recordar que debo ponerme al día con The Boys, pero es que tengo tantas en la lista que ya no sé cuándo podré comenzar a verla, jajajaja. Cuphead me llama la atención, pero leí que se fue a un tema un poco más infantil y se separó un poco del videojuego, lo que me decepcionó e hizo que no la quisiera ver. No sé si me la recomiendes o mejor sigo pasando de ella.

La mejor comparación que puedo hacer para el humor de Cuphead es como los Looney Toons pero un poquito más oscuros, no considero que el juego fue sumamente complejo como para que no le haga justicia, te la recomiendo si te gusta el humor absurdo y sin sentido.
Con respecto a The Boys, esta última temporada fue interesante y sienta las bases para algo más destacable y memorable, estoy a la espera de que pondrá sobre la mesa la próxima. Te mando un fuerte abrazo desde la distancia. 💜🤗
