[Movie review] [Eng | Esp] Bronx | Another corrupt police movie
Welcome my dear corrupt internet travelers and thank you very much for having made a temporary stop in my post, from time to time I like to see the typical cliché police movies where there is a lot of corruption, influence peddling and violence in industrial quantities, it is for This is why I decided to see the French film “Bronx”. Without more to add, put on your badges and prepare to do questionable acts that we are about to begin.
Bienvenidos mis queridos viajeros corruptos del internet y muchas gracias por haber hecho una parada temporal en mi post, de vez en cuando me gusta ver las típicas películas cliché de policias en donde haya mucha corrupción, tráfico de influencia y violencia en cantidades industriales, es por ello que me dispuse a ver el filme francés “Bronx”. Sin más que agregar pónganse sus placas y prepárense para hacer actos cuestionables que estamos por comenzar.
Bronx was released in 2020, it was directed by Olivier Marchal and produced by Gaumont, it has a duration of 1 hour and 56 minutes. It is a story of police crime and action, it focuses on a group of policemen who are being investigated for alleged corruption and leaking of confidential information, this causes their leader to be obliged to do everything possible in order to protect your unit from both real corrupt officers and highly dangerous criminal gangs.
Bronx fue estrenada en 2020, fue dirigida por Olivier Marchal y producida por Gaumont, cuenta con una duración de 1 hora y 56 minutos. Es una historia de crimen policial y acción, se enfoca un grupo de policías los cuales están siendo investigados por presunta corrupción y filtración de información confidencial, esto provoca que el líder de estos se encuentre en la obligación de hacer todo lo posible con tal de proteger a su unidad tanto de verdaderos oficiales corruptos como de bandas criminales altamente peligrosas.

The soundtrack passes without pain or glory, there is nothing that is really remarkable or objectionable in this section.
La banda sonora pasa sin pena ni gloria, no hay nada que sea realmente destacable ni reprochable de este apartado.
The world building feels chaotic and rushed, elements are constantly added in an exaggerated way causing too much information to be given and does not organically create a good context, outside of the mess there is not much to highlight is the typical scenario of law vs. crime with corrupt individuals only poorly developed.
La construcción de mundo se siente caótica y apresurada, constantemente se añaden elementos de forma exagerada haciendo que se dé demasiada información y que no cree de forma orgánica un buen contexto, fuera del desorden no hay mucho que destacar es el típico escenario de la ley versus el crimen con individuos corruptos solo que mal desarrollado.
The plot continues with the confusion of the previous point, this is difficult to understand because it has a disordered narrative in which many things are happening without allowing all the content to be processed in a good way, in turn, it lacks information regarding to these events since they only happen without really giving an explanation so that the viewer can truly understand what is happening and facilitate the understanding of it. The previous lack tries to make up for it with unbridled action, shooting and blood, although this one is not bad, it is not great enough to make you forget about the fiasco of the plot, its meaningless and forced plot twists, and, of course, its duration which is too much for the subject so simple that it treats.
La trama continua con el desbarajuste del punto anterior, esta es difícil de entender debido a que posee una narrativa desordenada en la cual van sucediendo muchas cosas sin permitir que se procese de buena forma todo el contenido, a su vez, carece de información con respecto a dichos eventos puesto que estos solo pasan sin dar realmente una explicación para que el espectador pueda comprender verdaderamente lo que está pasando y facilitar el entendimiento de la misma. La carencia anterior intenta suplirla con acción desenfrenada, disparos y sangre, si bien esta no es mala tampoco es lo suficientemente genial como para que te olvides del fiasco de la trama, de sus giros argumentales sin sentido y forzados, y, por supuesto, de su duración la cual es demasiada para el tema tan simple que trata.
As you will intuit, the characters are just as horrible as the plot, they are just strangers who do things for some reason that is never revealed, I will not go any further in this section that is not worth it.
Como intuirán los personajes están igual de horribles que la trama, solo son desconocidos que hacen cosas por algún motivo que nunca se revela, no me extenderé más en este apartado que no vale la pena.
Bronx has a shortage of good stuff, lacking a logical structure to its writing to the point that it makes the viewer think it skipped some kind of prequel by missing half of what's going on. It is for all this that it deserves 2 stars out of 7, I recommend it only if you want to listen to something in the background while doing some other task, there are other films with the same theme that do it ten times better.
Bronx tiene escasez de buenas cosas, no posee una estructura lógica en su escritura al punto de que hace pensar al espectador de que se saltó alguna clase de precuela al quedarse sin entender la mitad de lo que está pasando. Es por todo ello que merece 2 estrellas de 7, la recomiendo solo si quieren escuchar algo de fondo mientras realizan alguna otra tarea, existen otros filmes con la misma temática que lo hacen diez veces mejor.

La trama está un poco usada, se caen en muchos sitios comunes. Es bueno que nos traigas reseñas sobre estas cintas decadentes, para poder tener el aviso y evitarlas.
