EL PESCADOR

Un pescador va bogando y bogando
Por todo el ancho mar
De espaldas al sol naciente.

Rema y rema con sus fuertes brazos
Y en cada remo pesa una esperanza
Que se hunde y sale del agua
Rompiendo las olas sus crestas
Para impulsar la barca a su destino.

Deja de remar y prepara el ancla
Que se hundirá a lo más profundo
Para que su barca no naufrague
Y se pierda en el inmenso mar.

Prepara los aperos para comenzar su pesca
Carnadas y anzuelos se casan para sumergirse
Y conquistar a los incautos peces
Que esperan por comer y morder la carnada.

El pescador desde arriba solo espera el tirón
De los nylon cuando muerde el pez y es atrapado
Y llevado fuera del agua directo a la barca
Que será el sustento para la familia.

Vuelve el pescador a tierra firme
Colmado de felicidad
Porque la pesca fue buena
Y hay razón para estar contento
Porque la familia espera impaciente
Llevar a casa la pesca del pescador.

A fisherman rows and rows
