I just read a very powerful Christian book and I am here to review the book. The title of the book is The power of Vision by David Ibiyeomie. This book is a motivational book that explains all you need to know about having a vision and transforming your vision into a reality.

When I first saw the book, what struck me was the eagle displayed on the cover page. After reading the book I got to understand the reason for using the picture of an eagle. An eagle is a bird that has a keen vision. Their eyes can see from a very long distance with focus too. I think you will understand this part after reading this review.

The book is written in 7 chapters with each chapter discussing different things.

Chapter one

This chapter is titled "What you can see". The author explains that as a Christian, you have to pray with a vision. He likened it to "playing football without a goalpost". He also added that you have to dream the impossible in order for you to do the incredible. This means that there is a star that comes to life by just having a vision. So therefore, you have to let your vision be in place for the star to come and that star is in your destiny.

Chapter two

This chapter is titled "What you need is inside". The writer explains that the greatness of every man is within him. God has deposited inside everyone something that will make him or her known and become relevant to the world. All you need to do as an individual is to discover the key. He explained that to become a star, you need to see what you want to be, know what you want to do with it when you see it and then consciously do it.

Chapter three.

This chapter is titled "make it happen". In this chapter, he explains that when a man lacks vision, even if he works hard, he will not be productive. For something to change around you, it has to first change within you. He added that changes do not just happen but that they happen when we enforce it and not wait for it. He charged everyone to accept responsibility if they don't want to end up becoming a liability.

Chapter four

This chapter is titled "Designed for success". This chapter explains that as an individual, you need to put in your best. When you do your best, your best puts you in the best place for your next level. He further explains that it is in your power to be committed to pursuing your vision as you are, from the place you are, using what you have and while you can.

Chapter five

This chapter is titled "Fight for your future". In this chapter, you will understand that the quality of your performance is dependent on the quality of your preparation. There is a price tag on every great future and the value of your future is greatly determined by the price you are willing to pay. Lastly, the price for greatness is your responsibility. To create something you desire, you have to sometimes do what you dislike.

chapter 6

This chapter is titled "understanding purpose". Life becomes so interesting when you discover who you are created to be. To enjoy the blessings of God in your life, you need to discover and operate on the purpose why you were born. You need to be at the centre of your destiny because when you are there, nothing will kill you because the mandate of God you carry guarantees a supreme security for you.

Chapter seven

This chapter is titled "The power of Identity". The author explains that a lot of persons are only identified by their jobs. And if they lose the job, they loose their identity completely. You need to understand who you are which is the beginning of your triumph in your adventure as a Christian. You should never see yourself in the light of your present situation. Look ahead and see yourself in the light of what God says about you.
