Life Is Crazy

I never would have thought I'd be able to build competitive deck like this. With a few minor exceptions, I am approaching ownership of the entire collection of Untamed, Reward, and Promo regular foil cards. I also have every possible regular foil Beta card.

I had previously been investing in Beta cards, and bought thousands of packs using fiat money. Later on I also participated in the Kickstarter and got the title of Untamed.

I was fairly lukewarm about maxing out Untamed cards, but when the STEEM/HIVE split occurred, I utilized my STEEM power downs to continue to purchase more cards. I stopped purchasing packs altogether, and took to buying individual cards.

The Urgency

With the volatile situation currently, and the exchanges halting trading, @splinterlands continues to be a possible outlet for disposing of liquid STEEM. I honestly cant dump STEEM fast enough. Though it may pump later, I may not have a place to sell it, and I don't want to be left holding the bag.

For my latest power down, I bought some cards I never thought I'd buy, including recently Archmage Arius, Prince Julian, and the Royal Dragon Archer.

No Excuses

Now that I own maxed out versions of the best cards in the game, the only thing stopping me from climbing the ranks is doing a lousy job of picking cards. I feel like at this point I need to up my game and be less random about what I'm doing. This will also include getting off my island and actually pay attention what other highly successful players are picking.

Going Forward

Since I am rapidly approaching a maxed out deck, I may start looking to buying other highly used/popular cards for leasing out. I am also looking forward to the transition over to #hive since steem has become such a dumpster fire. In that, the Hive blockchain is about to onboard the most active crypto DApp, and the micro economy that comes along with it. I had fully anticipated this move would be made, which is why I was comfortable riding these cards over from STEEM to HIVE.
