Faro. – Poemas diarios por un mes (Día 27) [ESP-ENG]
Hello! Very good morning, afternoon and evening to all the Hive community, I hope you had a great Friday. Next and continuing with my personal challenge of writing a poem daily for the next 30 days to test myself as a writer if the barriers such as light or internet allow me, and in the final stretch on day 27, I share this new poem in this great community as it is Freewriters, this writing is titled lighthouse, this poem I wrote 3 days ago, it is fresh out of the oven, the inspiration to write it is because sometimes we are in an internal darkness ourselves, trying to flee and escape, but there are always or there are people who illuminate our path and our being to not deviate and continue moving towards our ultimate goal and well hence the inspiration to write it, I look forward to your comments and of course you like it very much.
Me llevó mucho tiempo reconstruir,
English
How can I forget the day I saw you for the first time,
When it was just another joke with a sad ending,
Somewhere, in my perimeter,
Something glowed in my orbit.
As if someone had reached out to me,
Putting me in a safety harness,
To save me from the pain that consumed me,
And that's when you and I met one day.
We talked about the simple things in life,
You gave me incredible confidence,
I was as lonely as a desert,
You just came along to change everything.
It took me a long time to rebuild,
A beacon to light your way,
It's easy for me to be with you,
You're a breath of fresh air in this suffocating life.
2 Corintios 4:6
For the same God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, is the one who has caused his light to shine in our hearts, so that we may enlighten others, making known to them the glory of God that shines in the face of Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 4:6
