El desayuno es la comida más importante del día, ya desde mi casa materna traigo ese hábito. Mi esposa acostumbra el desayuno mediterráneo. A veces comparto con ella esos típicos desayunos, pero también, a veces, la atrapo con los míos.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and from my mother's house I bring that habit. My wife uses the Mediterranean breakfast. Sometimes I share those typical breakfasts with her, but also, sometimes, I catch her with mine.

Y me resultó muy fácil con esta deliciosa tortilla, ni francesa ni española, "a lo Gilbert". Hecha con huevos bien batidos, como si fuese a preparar una francesa, para derramar sobre bacon, dos salchichas picaditas, cebolla, ajo y un trozo de tomate (lo que quedaba en la nevera), sino le pondría más.

And it was very easy for me with this delicious omelette, neither French nor Spanish, "Gilbert style". Made with well-beaten eggs, as if I were going to prepare a French fries, to pour over bacon, two chopped sausages, onion, garlic and a piece of tomato (what was left in the fridge), otherwise I would add more.

Comimos la tortilla en bocadillo, en un pan de barra ancha, tipo campesino, rociado por dentro con unas gotitas de aceite de oliva. Es un desayuno espectacular y muy completo, aunque... tiene su pequeño inconveniente, puede aumentar los niveles de colesterol.

We ate the tortilla as a sandwich, on a wide loaf bread, peasant type, sprinkled inside with a few drops of olive oil. It is a spectacular and very complete breakfast, although... it has its small drawback, it can increase cholesterol levels.
