Africa for example, is very rigid and emphasising when it comes to norms and slowly, over the years, the advent of social media has made these norms to be impotent, hence bringing a particular kind of sophistication which has made these norms seem redundant, meanwhile, they're not. In this video, I spoke about some of these norms and the concepts behind right and wrong and how we should be intentional with reckoning with what is right or wrong irrespective of the information that the media constantly exposes to us on a daily. Watch about this and more in this Video.

Well said bro. I think this you said is very common here in Nigeria, the spreading of false information without getting to the true source.. Right information are scarce tho only the false ones spread fast and go wild

Apart from it even being the wrong information, it's about breaking through Societal norm in other to do what's in vogue or what feels trendy simply because it takes away one's guilt from understanding that they have done something wrong and needs to make up for it.

Like I always say, for every market, there is always a corresponding buyer and seller of a product, service, or even information.

I believe the media(sellers) knows the people(buyers) sometimes give more audience or would prefer to pay more attention to and spread false information rather than valid information.

For one, the reactions are usually more controversial and the media lives for controversy.

Two, people just prefer to jump on the trend of whatever information trending without doing proper research on what they are consuming or even spreading.

I enjoyed this video.
Thank you for shedding light on this issue @josediccus.
