Stereotypes happens on a daily, it takes a lot of training the mind not to get sucked in to it. In this video I talked about seeing people before we see their flaws and weaknesses. Talked about seeing the prospects of people before seeing their inabilities. The human existence in general has been plagued, by boundaries, limitations and variables and differences rather than seeing uniqueness in these diversity, we see a wall. In this video I talked about the human empathy and values against segregation and Stereotypes.

"The Igbos loves Money"

I've heard that alot and I'm Igbo, but money doesn't move me. It's funny, but that's the truth.

The first time I went to a Yoruba land, I was very surprised to know that these people does not even flex as much as they were said to be.

In all, the fact remains that stereotypes are actually based on what was observed from a few, but that doesn't really mean that it's the fact. It's a sort of fallacious generalisation.

And it's not really bad per se. As far as we don't allow what we heard to cloud our judgement.

As for that religious stuff, it has already ruined my relationship. A relationship which was supposed to lead to a bright future met it's end because of religious difference. Hehe.

This world shaaa.

The feeling of loving money is more or less a human thing and not just the Igbos per say. We can say the Igbos are more business oriented and I'll accept this. As per the Yorubas, they're explicitly decent people, all my exes has been Yoruba, pretty feeling like I'll eventually end up with one. Some can majorly party while others can be frugal, I think judging a whole population with a few isn't a way fo go. A lot of stereotypes happen. The one for religion is often dominant especially in relationships. Hopefully we can advance past this level soon.
