Our Lone Songs

Our lone songs,
are sung in silence,
of our lamentations.
the world is a variant of colour
moving in a desperate pace
fading smiles
like a melting radiance,
drunken happiness,
sober thoughts,
and again snoring mouths.

Yet who knows?
who knows of this sorrow that grows
like weed in our sleep?
sadness in our tongue
like a pill that refuse to go!
a moment of pain
is like a conquest
we're solemn losers
fighting for a voice
to speak heavy truth

Our lone songs
are of disastrous laughter.
how we conquered
but lost in the little things.
we're a tragicomedy
a story that brings
salty grin to anyone.
our guitar is customised
to play throbbing tunes
and when we look at the sky
it trickles

A droplet of rain,
brings an end to our sunshine!
for the heavens were gleaming
with beams of hope,
a shadow of contempt
has set in,
for this road we're threading
threatens our demise
but we have given in,

.... given in to our despair
like a warm a day,
encapsulated by winter
and everything is gnawing,
we're going home,
to sing sunken songs
like nothing is wrong
a little light on our path
and we're rearing
to take this adventure.

Our lone songs,
are sung in silence,
of our lamentations.
for who do we tell?
of this torture?
a beautiful agony,
in diverse appearances?
this noiseless storm
that makes the soul bleed?
