Online influencing on web2 seems to have become very lucrative over time, especially on places like TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook. This has created an all-around attraction or concentration on content creation. Now so many people miss the idea of content creation. The main aim is to build followership by consistently adding value to a selected target audience. Before a person can be influenced, they're subscribed to you and would buy into whatsoever you're selling, however, the original aim is to offer value and attraction before Monetization. In this video, I talked about how apps like TikTok have bastardized the concept of monetization and how it's important to go back to the basics.

I kind of miss the day when things weren't all clickbait. Some of the videos and stuff I see on Youtube aren't the greatest. The entire thing has been like filled with all the other stuff in videos that disrupt the flow as well (ads).

Hahaha these Ads have become necessary evils I guess. I think at one point in time on Hive, we need to better what these web2 apps are doing when it comes to value and money, because already we have great contents here.
