Being Underwhelming In The Face Of Over-Expectations

The pressure to meet certain expectations as a result of one's antecedent can be totally demeaning. Sometimes we make inhumane efforts, extraordinary sacrifices in other to meet up to rather unfair standards. Failure sometimes makes it difficult for people to see your sacrifices, they forget to consider the times you have successfully scaled unimaginable hurdles.
This is why I believe in life people should have the freedom to fail at will because it's organic to how we develop, pick up ourselves again and decide to be better. In this video I talk about this and more.

Sometimes we are always afraid to fail and in this light, we tend to put more pressure on ourselves because of the ‘fear of failure’ and you’re right, people would only see where you failed even if you succeed 9/10 times, it’s part of life. As humans we just have to be determined not to dwell on our failures but to use them as stepping stones to our success.
