As a child, allured,
to the charm of the evening,
enthused by its radiant hues
enticed by the gentility
of the air
as it leaves
an ephemeral feeling
of bliss.
savor this day,
like the warmness of coffee,

The world spins,
turning babes to old men,
in an eye's twinkle.
In a jiffy,
countless smiles have died,
beautiful sorrow, shared.
many candles have burned,
precious seconds, ticked,
as moments, fades away,
like bubbles, hovering
In the endless skies.

Season slays seasons,
time counts,
without ceasing;
leaving you to relish
the taste of minutes,
as they become decades,
fleeting before the very eyes,
like sand castles,
when the wind is gusting.

Enjoy the water's lapping
crashing down
on the forest's mountain,
sit idly, take an hour,
to feel your youth
wasting away,
watching the wiles
of the world,
as millions of people,
follows the scents of coins
in bouts of melee.

Yesterday, you basked,
in the vigor of your youth.
In the mirror,
you're the Duchess
of your kingdom.
Today, the rain is drizzling,
bringing shades of lightening,
crashing on your roof.
and you have forgotten
how it feels, to smell the sunset,
as it saturates the evening with delight.

We're locked in hourglass!
Each, upturned.
Every kiss begins to die,
as you lose focus.
Myriads of thoughts
of things left undone,
as it scrambles away from us,
the life force,
flowing out of proportion
trickling to the last drop,
