En el mercado existen muchísimos equipos que permiten medir el nivel de glucosa en la sangre y al momento de adquirir uno, quizás lo mejor sea seguir las indicaciones del medico, para obtener un equipo que permita cumplir con las indicaciones que el especialista te haya mandado. Sin embargo, en mi caso particular, han sido un dolor de cabeza y ya en la casa tengo un cementerio de tantos equipos que me han quedado como de pisapapeles.

El costo de este equipo es de 25 USDT o por lo menos eso fue lo que me costo aquí a mi. Como se trata de un kit, en la caja trae el medidor de glucosa, un estuche, el lápiz para pinchar el dedo, 10 cintas reactivas, 10 pullas de respuesta, manuales y una libreta para anotar los resultados y llevar un registro. Adicional, aproveche a comprar cintas reactivas adicionales, para asegurar mediciones en el futuro por si no encuentro más cintas y me toca arrumar este aparto junto a sus compañeros.

Uno de los aspectos que me sorprendió de este equipo es la velocidad con que entrega el resultado de la medición. En tan solo 4 segundos, ya puedes ver en pantalla cual es tu nivel de azúcar en la sangre, los anteriores dispositivos podían tardar entre 30 a 60 segundos en dar el resultado. La cantidad de sangre que necesita es micro, por lo que no es necesario destrozar los dedos para tomar una muestra.

A nivel físico se siente intermedio, no es la mejor calidad, pero tampoco la peor. Es un equipo que hay que cuidar, pero como no se trata de un juguete y el solo tener que utilizarlo algunas veces a la semana, permite que su duración sea mayor.

Hay algunos aspectos que no me gustaron y el primero de ellos es que no tenga una batería recargable, aunque por el uso que se le da, el tipo de batería que utiliza le va a dar mucha vida al dispositivo. El otro aspecto es el lápiz que trae, es un lápiz de muy baja calidad y siento que en cualquier momento se va a romper, por suerte tengo otros 4-5 lápiz de esos en casa y puedo alternarlos, pero es un punto a considerar por si es la primera vez que vas a a adquirir un equipo de estos.

En el caso de este equipo y como es la mayoría de los equipos para medir la glucosa en sangre, se debe colocar la cinta reactiva en el lector, pinchar el dedo y colocar la sangre en el indicador de la cinta. Es un proceso muy rápido de hacer y con un riesgo bajo de perder la cinta, como me sucedía antes con otros equipos.

Ojala nunca tengas que necesitar algún equipo de estos en casa, es mi deseo que gocen de salud para evitar todas estas cosas, pero de llegar a ser necesario comprar un glucómetro, este dispositivo ha cumplido mis expectativas, teniendo presente que no es el mayor calidad, pero con el cuidado necesario, estará bien. Si debo darle un puntaje, le daría 7.5/10, por la rapidez, por tener un indicador de luz al terminar la medición, por almacenar hasta 500 resultados y por no ser tan exigente a la hora de colocar la cinta y tomar la muestra para la medición.

I hope you never have to need any of this equipment at home, it is my wish that you enjoy health to avoid all these things, but if it becomes necessary to buy a glucometer, this device has met my expectations, keeping in mind that it is not the highest quality, but with the necessary care, it will be fine. If I have to give it a score, I would give it 7.5/10, for the speed, for having a light indicator at the end of the measurement, for storing up to 500 results and for not being so demanding when placing the tape and taking the sample for the measurement.
