Feliz día para todos, espero que se encuentren muy bien. Me gustaría en esta ocasión utilizar mi espacio para hablarles de un tema que me parece es muy interesante y nos incumbe a toda la comunidad #Hive.
El tema del que quisiera hablarles tiene que ver con las criptomonedas y la tecnología blockchain. Desde el 2010 con la salida a la luz del Bitcoin el mundo se revolucionó ante las nuevas posibilidades que ofrecía la criptomoneda y todo el panorama que se abría a partir de esta, todo gracias a la ingeniosa implementación de las cadenas de bloques o tecnología blockchain como me gusta llamarle.

Happy day to all, I hope you are feeling great. I would like on this occasion to use my space to talk to you about a topic that I think is very interesting and concerns the entire #Hive community.
The topic I would like to talk about has to do with cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. Since 2010 with the release of Bitcoin the world was revolutionized by the new possibilities offered by the cryptocurrency and the whole panorama that opened from this, all thanks to the ingenious implementation of blockchain or blockchain technology as I like to call it.
Desde ese momento las cosas cambiaron para siempre aunque los escépticos no lo quisieron ver, una década después nos encontramos en lo que podríamos llamar un punto álgido para las crypto, han dejado de ser un tabú o una cuestión desconocida para muchos y ahora comienzan a formar parte de la cotidianidad de muchas personas alrededor del mundo.
Antes de la pandemia el mercado mundial de criptomonedas pasaba por un buen momento y comenzaba poco a poco su irrupción en uno de los últimos lugares que le faltaba por “capitalizar”, estoy hablando de la tarima que ofrecen hoy en día las redes sociales. Con la llegada de la pandemia toda esta situación fue a mayor ya que el parón propiciado por la Covid-19 promovió el interés de muchas personas en el mundo que vieron en las criptomonedas un salvavidas en medio de tanta tempestad.
From that moment things changed forever although skeptics did not want to see it, a decade later we are in what we could call a high point for crypto, they have ceased to be a taboo or an unknown issue for many and now begin to be part of the everyday life of many people around the world.
Before the pandemic, the global cryptocurrency market was going through a good time and was slowly beginning its irruption in one of the last places that was missing to "capitalize", I am talking about the platform offered today by social networks. With the arrival of the pandemic, the whole situation became even more serious, since the standstill caused by Covid-19 promoted the interest of many people in the world who saw cryptocurrencies as a lifesaver in the midst of such a storm.
Fue así como comenzó a expandirse mucho más toda la “cultura crypto”, término que acabo de inventar y que quiero utilizar para describir el interés social hacia las criptomonedas. Cada vez más se ampliaban las posibilidades ofrecidas por las cryptos, su implementación pasó de ser simplemente un instrumento financiero a ser una llave que abre muchas puertas en los distintos ámbitos sociales.
Todos estos días he estado al tanto con algunas noticias que solo han servido para asentar mi percepción de que la “cultura crypto” cada vez gana más terreno. Para darles un ejemplo me gustaría invitarlos a conocer la noticia que se desarrolló hace unos días en El Salvador, resulta que el país centroamericano ha dado luz verde a la circulación de Bitcoin como moneda oficial, esto como estrategia para la lucha contra la crisis económica provocada por la pandemia.
This is how the whole "crypto culture", a term that I have just invented and that I want to use to describe the social interest in cryptocurrencies, began to expand much more. The possibilities offered by cryptos were expanding more and more, their implementation went from being simply a financial instrument to being a key that opens many doors in different social spheres.
All these days I've been aware of some news that have only served to strengthen my perception that the "crypto culture" is gaining more and more ground. To give you an example I would like to invite you to know the news that developed a few days ago in El Salvador, it turns out that the Central American country has given the green light to the circulation of Bitcoin as official currency, this as a strategy to combat the economic crisis caused by the pandemic.
Esta noticia abarca un hecho histórico para las criptomonedas ya que se trata del primer país en adoptar una crypto “descentralizada” -valga la expresión- como moneda oficial. Pueden leer más de esta noticia aquí.
Otra de las noticias que llamó poderosamente mi atención tuvo lugar mucho más cerca, específicamente aquí en Venezuela. Resulta que una universidad pública del país pretende abrir en su pensum de estudio la carrera de Ingeniería en blockchain y criptomonedas, se trata de la primera institución pública del país que hace algo de este tipo y que según pienso obedece a todo el auge que viven las criptomonedas en nuestro país.

Another news that powerfully caught my attention took place much closer, specifically here in Venezuela. It turns out that a public university in the country intends to open in its curriculum the career of Engineering in blockchain and cryptocurrencies, this is the first public institution in the country that does something of this type and that I think is due to all the boom that cryptocurrencies are experiencing in our country.
La sociedad venezolana se ha interesado sobremanera por estos criptoactivos ya que vemos en ellas una alternativa viable a toda la mala situación económica que vivimos, esto hace que las instituciones, sectores económicos y sociales volteen la vista hacia las criptomonedas y por supuesto la tecnología blockchain.
Todo lo que acabo de explicar es una clara muestra de que la sociedad tiene la capacidad de adoptar perfectamente las herramientas que ofrecen las criptomonedas y la tecnología blockchain, precisamente gracias al robusto sistema de seguridad, confianza y versatilidad que estas ofrecen. En los años venideros es casi seguro que viviremos un auge mucho mayor de la “cultura crypto” ya que como hemos visto esta nos ofrece las herramientas necesarias para afrontar muchos de los dilemas que vivimos en estos días.
Venezuelan society has become very interested in these cryptoassets because we see in them a viable alternative to the bad economic situation we are living, this makes institutions, economic and social sectors turn their eyes towards cryptocurrencies and of course blockchain technology.
Everything I have just explained is a clear sign that society has the capacity to perfectly adopt the tools offered by cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology, precisely thanks to the robust security system, trust and versatility they offer. In the coming years it is almost certain that we will experience a much greater boom of the "crypto culture" since, as we have seen, it offers us the necessary tools to face many of the dilemmas we live in these days.
