Saludos estimados amigos de #hivemotors hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un problema que encontré con mi horno eléctrico, el cual pude solucionar.

Les comento que en mi casa tenemos un Horno Eléctrico Marca Premiun, a 220 voltios, el cual se utiliza mucho para diversas preparaciones en mi hogar.

El problema del equipo es que no encendía y tenía un olor a quemado, lo cual me alarmó un poco, y procedí a desarmarlo.

Al realizar una inspección visual, observé que el olor provenía de un componente muy pequeño que sirve para regular la temperatura del aparato, el cual pude adquirir llevando la muestra.

Sin embargo al reemplazarlo me di cuenta que el problema persistía así que decidí utilizar el multímetro para comprobar las resistencias, las cuales estaban bien, luego comencé a medir continuidades en los distintos interruptores.

En el selector de temperatura no había problema, pero en el temporizador resulta que había una avería por exceso de calor (se dañó un poco el plástico), esto lo reparé utilizando un poco de pegatanque, se aplicó en el sitio que se quería pegar y mantener en su posición, y como nunca perdió continuidad supuse que el problema estaba arreglado.

Tal como me temía, al instalarlo aun el equipo no encendió, ya solo faltaba por probar el selector de resistencias, y allí encontré que no tenía continuidad, examinando el componente descubrí nuevamente un daño por temperatura, por lo que perdió el contacto, con una pequeña soldadura recuperó la continuidad, y al fin el horno quedó nuevamente operativo, sin embargo el daño del primer componente afectó dos de los tres selectores, esto implica que no hay componente pequeño en el equipo.

Upon visual inspection, I noticed that the smell was coming from a very small component used to regulate the temperature of the appliance, which I was able to acquire by taking the sample.

However, when I replaced it I realized that the problem persisted so I decided to use the multimeter to check the resistors, which were fine, then I began to measure continuities in the different switches.

In the temperature selector there was no problem, but in the timer it turns out that there was a malfunction due to excess heat (the plastic was damaged a little), I repaired it using some glue, it was applied in the place where I wanted to stick it and keep it in position, and as it never lost continuity I assumed that the problem was fixed,

However, this last thing caught my attention because if it had continuity, it should have turned on, even with the damage to its plastic.

As I feared, when I installed it, the equipment still did not turn on, I only needed to test the resistor selector, and there I found that it had no continuity, examining the component I discovered again a temperature damage, so it lost contact, with a small solder recovered continuity, and finally the oven was operational again, however the damage of the first component affected two of the three selectors, this implies that there is no small component in the equipment.
