Saludos amigos de #HIVEMOTORS!! Hoy quiero comentarles sobre un servicio que es necesario para el buen funcionamiento del motor de nuestro vehículo, como lo es el servicio a los inyectores!

Los inyectores representan el dispositivo que como su nombre lo indica inyecta el combustible a los cilindros de los motores y cuya mezcla con el aire, al momento de la ignición de la bujía produce la combustión en el ciclo Otto.

En mi caso el automóvil al que le realice el servicio es un Hyundai que tiene varios años de uso, y tenía tiempo que no hacía este servicio, desde hace un tiempo he estado poniendo al día al vehículo en cuanto a servicios, como el cambio de aceite, de filtros y alguna revisión, pero el mecánico me dijo que esperara un poco para este servicio ya que el auto estaba funcionando bien.

El asunto es que a pesar de no tener una falla en su funcionamiento, había un evidente olor a gasolina en el motor por lo que inmediatamente realice una inspección en la parte inferior a ver si había una fuga en la línea de gasolina y llegué hasta el motor de dónde salía el olor, por lo que me di cuenta que el problema se debía a que un inyector (el número 2) estaba pasando gasolina de más.

Por suerte el mecánico tiene un equipo para realizar el servicio y por ende solicite el servicio. En el hyundai la ubicación de los inyectores hace que sean de fácil acceso para su extracción, para la cual se debe desconectar la electricidad del inyector y destornillador una base que ayuda al soporte del mismo, pero todo en una ubicación que permite el uso de las herramientas.

La máquina de realizar el servicio simula el comportamiento en marcha y tiene unos tubos en los cuales se puede apreciar el comportamiento del inyector mientras se limpia, muchas veces hay que repetir el proceso con alguno (ya de la programación de la máquina no conozco mucho)

En mi caso el inyector del cilindro 2 era el del problema y por tanto tardo más en estar en las especificaciones requeridas, pero al instalarlo ya estaba en condiciones, además se limpiaron las bujías, las cuales espero cambiar en otras oportunidad.

De este mantenimiento me quedan algunas consideraciones, la primera es que si se tiene un olor a gasolina en el vehículo se debe inmediatamente ubicar al mecánico para para una revisión (o hacerlo uno mismo mediante inspección visual) que el servicio a los inyectores en un país en el cual la gasolina no es de gran calidad como en el mío debe ser más frecuente, y que se debe ubicar a un mecánico de confianza para poder realizar el servicio.

Hasta ahora el vehículo se mantenido bien luego del servicio y el olor ha desaparecido ya me siento más tranquilo pero siempre atento, muchas veces es preferible detener el vehículo a tiempo que luego enfrentar consecuencias negativas por negligencia.

In my case the car I had serviced is a Hyundai that has several years of use, and I had not done this service for some time, for some time now I have been updating the vehicle in terms of services, such as oil change, filters and some revision, but the mechanic told me to wait a little for this service since the car was working well.

The thing is that despite not having a malfunction, there was an obvious smell of gasoline in the engine so I immediately made an inspection at the bottom to see if there was a leak in the fuel line and I got to the engine where the smell was coming from, so I realized that the problem was due to an injector (number 2) was passing too much gasoline.

Luckily the mechanic has the equipment to perform the service and so I requested the service. In the hyundai the location of the injectors makes them easy to access for extraction, for which you must disconnect the electricity from the injector and screwdriver a base that helps the support of the same, but all in a location that allows the use of tools.

The machine to perform the service simulates the behavior in march and has some tubes in which you can see the behavior of the injector while cleaning, often you have to repeat the process with some (and the programming of the machine do not know much).

In my case the injector of cylinder 2 was the problem and therefore took longer to be in the required specifications, but when installing it was already in condition, also the spark plugs were cleaned, which I hope to change at another opportunity.

From this maintenance I have some considerations, the first is that if you have a smell of gasoline in the vehicle you should immediately locate the mechanic for a review (or do it yourself by visual inspection) that the service to the injectors in a country where gasoline is not of high quality as in mine should be more frequent, and that you should locate a trusted mechanic to be able to perform the service.

So far the vehicle has been well maintained after the service and the smell has disappeared and I feel calmer but always attentive, many times it is preferable to stop the vehicle in time than to face negative consequences due to negligence.
