Ladies of Hive. Contest #114 My Greatest joys and sorrows [ENG/ESP]
Once again happy to participate in this weekly Contest #114 about the greatest joy and/or sadness that has happened to us in this year that is almost over. This year that is ending I will not remember it for having great events that have marked my life in terms of sadness or joy, but like all the years that culminate it is full of events, good and bad, that have an impact on our lives, and that always leave us with a lesson, something to reflect on and learn from.
About this year's sorrows 🙁:
Negative events always fill us with sadness and discouragement. Such feelings should not overwhelm us for long, as they can affect our physical and mental health. Bad times are often beyond our control, and as difficult as it may be to face them, they are also part of the road we travel and that shapes our life experience.
This year in general has not been a good one for most Cubans. We have had to deal with the very difficult economic situation the country is going through, many say it is one of the worst crises they have ever experienced. There are serious problems of shortages in all aspects (food and supplies of all kinds), a serious deterioration of the health system, power cuts of several hours a day, an uncontrolled rise in the prices of basic necessities. And all this has led to an unprecedented migration of many Cubans and with it the sadness caused by the separation of family and friends whom we may not see again in a long time, generating much grief in most of us.
On a more personal level, this year my daughter has had several episodes of shortness of breath and we have had to take her to the doctor several times. She was finally declared an asthmatic patient and it is something that has had me very worried, as she has suffered several crises. Fortunately she has her treatment, and has responded well to it, but it is a disease to deal with for life.
But everything always evens out, so I have also had my good moments, of course.
About this year's joys 😃:
The good things we live are the ones that fill us with security, give us joy and help us many times to face adversity and move forward.
This year, after a long time, my daughter started in the children's circle and that gave me more time to dedicate to my work and to do new things. I had to move to a different location, with other colleagues, but I gained in proximity, I am closer to my home and the new colleagues are fantastic. In addition, I was assigned other responsibilities and with that the possibility of improving my professional development.
This year I joined Hive and the Cuban community of hivecuba where I have met excellent, intelligent and talented people, who are always willing to help and teach those like me who have less experience in this world. And that makes me feel very good.
My oldest son also finished his school year with very good grades, and was able to change to a school where he is more comfortable and with which he identifies better, and that encouraged him to study and finish with a very good average. This is his last year before taking the tests to enter the University, he is studying and preparing himself a lot, and that makes me very happy.
Concluding:
The most important thing is that a new year begins (2023) with the opportunity to set new goals and achievements, a new year that I will face with great optimism.
There were some things that did not mark my life but that I have enjoyed a lot (good things, the bad things are already behind me) Without any chronological order here they go:
-The Qatar 2022 World Cup. A World Cup full of surprises and excitement, my congratulations to all Argentines! ⚽️
-The launching of the series: "The House of the Dragon" and "The Rings of Power". I loved them!❤️
-The new Avatar movie, I haven't had the chance to see it yet, but I know that soon I will be able to, so I'm excited!🤗

Este año que finaliza no lo recordaré por tener grandes acontecimientos que hayan marcado mi vida en cuanto a tristezas o alegrías, pero como todos los años que culminan está lleno de sucesos, buenos y malos, que tienen un impacto en nuestras vidas, y que siempre nos dejan una enseñanza, algo sobre lo que reflexionar y aprender.
Sobre las penas de este año🙁:
Los acontecimientos negativos siempre nos llenan de tristeza y desanimo. Tales sentimientos no deben embargarnos por mucho tiempo, ya que pueden afectar nuestra salud física y mental. Los malos momentos muchas veces escapan a nuestro control y por difícil que sea afrontarlos también son una parte del camino que transitamos y que conforma nuestra experiencia de vida.
Este año en general no ha sido bueno para la mayoría de los cubanos. Hemos tenido que lidiar con la dificilísima situación económica que está atravesando el país, muchos dicen que es una de las peores crisis que han vivido. Existen problemas graves de desabastecimientos en todos los aspectos (alimentos e insumos de todo tipo), un grave deterioro del sistema de salud, cortes energéticos de varias horas al día, un alza incontrolada en los precios de los artículos de primera necesidad. Y todo esto ha llevado a una migración sin precedentes de muchos cubanos y con ello la tristeza que provoca la separación de familiares y amigos a los que posiblemente no volvamos a ver en mucho tiempo, generando mucho pesar en la mayoría de nosotros.
En el plano más personal este año mi niña ha hecho varios episodios de falta de aire y hemos tenido que llevarla al médico en varias ocasiones. Finalmente fue declarada paciente asmática y es algo que me ha tenido muy preocupa, ya que ha sufrido varias crisis. Afortunadamente tiene su tratamiento, y ha respondido bien al mismo, pero es una enfermedad con la que hay que tratar de por vida.
Pero siempre todo se equilibra, así que también he tendido mis buenos momentos, claro.
Sobre las alegrías de este año😃:
Las cosas buenas que vivimos son las que nos llenan de seguridad, nos dan alegría y nos ayudan muchas veces a afrontar la adversidad y seguir adelante.
Este año después de mucho tiempo mi niña empezó en el círculo infantil y con eso me dejó más tiempo para poder dedicarle a mi trabajo, y hacer cosas nuevas. Tuve que cambiarme a un local diferente, con otros compañeros, pero gané en cercanía, estoy más cerca de mi casa y los compañeros nuevos son fantásticos. Además, me asignaron otras responsabilidades y con eso la posibilidad de mejorar mi superación profesional.
En este año me uní a Hive y a la comunidad cubana de hivecuba en donde he conocido a personas excelentes, inteligente y talentosas, que siempre están dispuestas a ayudar y enseñar a los que como yo tenemos menos experiencia en este mundo. Y eso me hace sentir muy bien. '
También mi hijo mayor terminó su curso escolar con muy buenas notas, y pudo cambiarse a una escuela en donde está más a gusto y con la que se identifica mejor, y eso lo incentivó a estudiar y terminar con muy buen promedio. Este es su último año antes de hacer las pruebas para entrar a la Universidad, está estudiando y preparándose mucho, y eso me pone muy feliz.
Concluyendo:
Lo más importante es que empieza un nuevo año (2023) con la oportunidad de proponerme nuevas metas y logros, un nuevo año que voy a afrontar con mucho optimismo.
Hubo algunas cosas que no marcaron mi vida pero que si he disfrutado mucho (cosas buenas, lo malo ya quedo atrás) Sin ningún orden cronológico aquí van:
-El mundial de fútbol de Qatar 2022. Un mundial lleno de sorpresas y de emoción. ¡Mi enhorabuena para todos los argentinos! ⚽️
-El lanzamiento de las series: "La casa del Dragón" y "Los anillos de poder". ¡Me encantaron! ❤️
-La nueva película de Avatar, ésta aún no he tenido la oportunidad de verla, pero sé que pronto lo voy a poder hacer, ¡Así que y ya con eso me emociono!🤗
Hasta aquí mis mejores y peores vivencias de este año.

Muy bonito y bien estructurado tu post querida @jordy0827, en cuanto a los aspectos negativos, conozco bien a que te refieres también soy cubana, pero apartando lo que sabemos es una pena todo lo que has tenido que vivir con los problemas de salud de tu niña y los tuyos propios, pero igual veo que tus mayores alegría también vienen de tus hijos, ellos son nuestra principal motivación y preocupación y vivimos como propios sus logros. Felicidades por los logros alcanzados y esperemos que el año próximo tengamos una mejor situación económica en el país . Mucha suerte en el concurso!!!

Unfortunately life is full of ups and downs and sometimes one is more than the other. Some things you can change, others you can't as it has to be done at the macro-economical level, but what is worrying is your daughter's health. Take care of her as asthma is a serious illness.
I wish you and your family health and prosperity and I hope Cuba can make some steps to get out of the tough situation is in.
