  2. Reactive/Exogenous depression.
    Depression that does not seem to have any cause is called endogenous or biological depression. And the depression behind which a specific event or problem is found, that is Reactive depression.

But we also need to understand that what appears to be depression may actually be just the outward symptoms of a more complex disease.Depression can be temporary or chronic. You must consult a doctor for chronic depression. However, it is not always possible to get rid of depression through treatment. Therefore, it is more effective to find out the reasons behind it, to prevent the reasons in advance.
There are also some personal causes of depression such as –
Loneliness, lack of social support or contact, recent traumatic event, family history of depression, marital or relationship conflict, financial problems, past traumatic childhood, presence of alcohol or drug addiction, unemployment, complex physical disorders, etc.

There is really no formal treatment for depression. Depression is basically a mental disorder. So you have to deal with it through your mind mentality. Trying to improve our mental state is the only way out of our depression.
