I've seen this quote a few times in the past but I have never understood it until now. I think as I have matured through the years (I hope I did mature lol) I realized that life is what you make of it - sometimes it goes by pretty fast, like a blur, boom, it's been years; while other times it goes ever so slowly like hours are stretched into days and stretched slowly into weeks, the kind where you just want for it to go fast-forward. When I think about it, one can only understand "this crazy beautiful thing called life" when you look back at the past - it answers lots of "why's" and "why not's". The tricky thing is not to live in the shadow of the past, but to learn from it, and move forward, live in the present and prepare for tomorrow. 🥰
Good day, Hive friends! How are you? It's November the first. Whoa. It. Is. November!!! Let that sink in. WHOA. (Typing it and saying it out loud is pretty weird haha) In two months, we'll say goodbye to this year and say hello to another. Just. Wow.

☕ VISITING RAON CAFÉ located in Lapu-Lapu City! I went there last weekend with my mom and my sisters. It was kind of a post-birthday celeb of my sister Rica. We got coffees, shakes, and we even ate cake there as well. The design of the coffee shop is very modern! It is minimalist and looks clean and sleek. The fact that it is close to a spa and a swimming pool makes it more awesome. Totally love the concept of this "Rain Square" you guys! I would definitely want to visit again!🥰
🌶️VISITING KOREAN HYPERMART at Lapu-Lapu!! I was amazed by the tons of Korean grocery products avaible at this newly opened mart. There were some cheap stuff as well, which I really liked! There were plenty of food choices as well! We ate noodles, rice cakes, bibimbap and tteokbokki that day - yuumm!🤤

I remember, some years ago, standing at a crossroads in my life. I had just lost a job I was passionate about, and felt like the universe was playing a cruel joke on me. They can obscure the broader picture, blind us to the possibilities that lay just beyond our current horizon. Think about it. How many times have we faced something seemingly negative only to discover, in hindsight, that it was a blessing in disguise?
Embrace life's twists, for each thread weaves your unique and vibrant destiny.
But the inverse is true as well. Events that seem fortuitous can sometimes lead us down a path of heartache. It's a humbling realization, accepting that our understanding is often limited. That’s why, amidst life’s roller coaster, the virtues of acceptance, detachment, and perspective are invaluable. They arm us with resilience, allowing us to find equilibrium even when life seems to be pulling the rug from under us.
Here’s a little secret I’ve learned from my experiences: it’s okay not to always know or understand.
