Sophia's Mountainside: Perfect View, Rain or Shine🍂 (#BoholBlog01)

A rainy Tuesday afternoon to you dear Hive friends - from this gloomy part of the world. It has been constantly raining here and I have been enjoying hot cups of coffee and cocoa whenever I am in dire need to a good drink to uplift my mood.

How's the weather where you are, dear friend? I hope you are making the most of each day despite it being too sunny or too rainy. 😅

As promised here are photographs of when I visited Bohol, Philippines last week. Our very first stop was Sophia's and I loved it there. It is such a scenic place, do you agree? Plus I like that it was cold and a bit humid at the same time. What a perfect place to enjoy steaming hot cup of coffee, yes?! 😍

My friend Gena and I had our much-needed catch-up talk there - chitchat over coffee! We haven't seen each other for a year now and we had so much to talk about. 😅 Our conversation was about how we were during 2020 covid lockdown, our career transitions, Gena shared her marriage and bravely talked about their recent miscarriage, we talked about our plans for the future. It was great talking to bugs just like the old times. It was as if no time had passed.

Gena offered to take some photographs of me before we headed back to the car. She reasoned that since I barely visit Bohol I had to have mandatory pictures, for keepsake, she said. As well you know me (haha) I then posed for the camera even when my muscles were sore from the 2-hour boat ride and 3-hour waiting time lol.
