Sip Café Kinda Monday🍲🥗🍝
Hello beautiful Hive fam and all the foodies ‘round here! Today is another #foodie blogpost, and this time featuring the ever loved place of mine – Sip Café!
The first time I posted about Sip was probably last year around September when Sway and I went out on a date. Since then, my friends and I go there when we crave their Korean inspired rice bowl, and yesterday was one of those ‘crave-days’ haha.
What we love about the place is its minimalistic design. I appreciate the “fresh” vibe of their interiors. There is not much going on when it comes to paint, design and colour – just the “relaxing” ambiance to end a Monday’s worth of hustle.
We ordered their Kim-Gogi-Bap (our all-time favourite) which is a bowl of kimchi fried rice topped with sautéed vegetables, beef bulgogi and fried egg. Personally I love this combo because their bulgogi is SO good and the kimchi tastes just then way I like kimchi to taste (I do not know if that makes sense haha). The huge bowl is good for two eating patrons and it’s just at 315 PHP or 6 USD.
I wanted to try their something we haven’t tried yet and we ended up ordering their penne pasta in white Cajun sauce with grilled chicken. The photo from the menu looks enticing which encouraged me to give it a try. And boy was I glad that we did – THE SAUCE WAS SO CREAMY AND DELICIOUS! The pasta was ‘al dente’ and the grilled chicken was tender and flavourful. It is just for 255 PHP (approx.5 USD) but it is good for two people already!
Since our last visit Sip Café has changed their menu now to include all-day breakfast, which my friends and I agreed to have another try the next time we’ll find ourselves near the place. Personally I would definitely recommend Sip to all foodies out there! ✨
