Charlie's Cup: Café by the Mountain (Part I)✨

"Time flies by so fast. Eat that cake. Go out and seize the day. Do that thing you've always loved. Because before you know it, you may not have enough time to experience these things."

I have read a quote with similar thoughts to the above, about the other day. It was a gentle reminder for me: SEIZE THE DAY. That sounds about right. Right? 🤸‍♀️

I normally would go to work on a Monday, but yesterday I thought about it and decided I would take the day off and go and celebrate my mother's birthday.🥰

My sister @gwenfinity decided she will take Mama to a nice coffee place with a view. She told me and @swaycanete that we could tag along, and I was so glad to have taken this day off, whohooo! 🥳 When ate Joycie @morenatravels knew that we were heading "mountain-bound", she called us and asked if we can wait. And wait we did. It was around 9:20 AM that we were on our way to Busay. (It is a place within Cebu City that's in the mountains.)

I first heard about Charlie's Cup last year - it became a popular place for the local tourists. I guess there was one Facebook post about it that went viral (which is kind of how businesses do marketing these days) and before you know it people kept checking out the area.

As soon as I got out of the car, the brick wall got my attention. It's a structure that is not as common around here in the city. A few steps from the brick wall, there's the kitchen and the counter where one can order. It's a self-service café so you may need to inform the waiters of your order once you step inside.
