We are living in a time where everyone wants to react quickly, everyone wants to talk and have an opinion. At the same time, God calls us and invites us to slow down, to listen more, and to think before responding hastily.
Through this passage, He recommends that we listen carefully. This means without judging, because sometimes the other person who is speaking isn't looking for a solution; they're just waiting to be truly heard, because, I tell you, we are.
When the word of God tells us to be slow to speak, it means to think before we speak, because everything we say can be for good or bad. With words, we can heal, or at the same time, we can hurt. When it says to be slow to anger, it means to have temperance, to control our anger and rage, and not react in a petty manner or get angry easily. We should respond wisely, as this is courage.
The advice we are receiving today through the word of God is not just about having good behavior; it is a process we begin in life to live in peace, improve our relationships, and, above all, reflect the character of Christ.
Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, let everyone be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger.
James 1:19

Estamos viviendo un tiempo en donde todos quieren reaccionar de manera rápida, todos quieren hablar y quieren opinar, en el mismo tiempo Dios nos llama y nos invita a poner un pie en el freno, a escuchar más y pensar antes de responder apresuradamente.
Nos recomienda a través de esta porción de la palabra escuchar con atención esto significa sin juzgar porque a veces la otra persona que se expresa no está en busca de una solución, solamente está esperando que le escuchen de verdad porque te cuento que nosotros estamos.
Cuando la palabra de Dios nos dice que seamos tardo para hablar significa que pensemos antes de hablar porque todo lo que hablamos puede ser para bien o no, con las palabras podemos sanar o a la vez podemos herir. Cuando dice que seamos tardos para la ira quiere decir que tengamos Temperance, que controlemos el enojo, la bronca y no reaccionamos de manera itempetuosa o que no nos enojemos fácil, que respondamos con sabiduría ya que esto es de valentía.
El consejo que hoy estamos recibiendo a través de la palabra de Dios no se trata solamente de tener una buena conducta, es un proceso que iniciamos en la vida para vivir en paz mejorar nuestras relaciones y sobretodo reflejar el carácter de Cristo.
Por esto, mis amados hermanos, todo hombre sea pronto para oír, tardo para hablar, tardo para airarse
