#11: My Village Church
A church is a building where christian religious activities are carried out. My village is Efiat Offot in Uyo Local Govenment Area. The road to my village church is linked with the I.B.B Avenue. The road to church is a sand filled road which is yellow and beautiful anytime the sun shines!
The gate of the church is red and below the gate is a cemented lift which slides down at the other end for incoming vehicles to move into the church comfortably. At the left hand side of the church is a large car park for vehicles. The well trimmed beautiful grass is what surrounds the car park.
At the right hand side is a small building which is mainly for children to enjoy their services and learn during bible studies and Sunday school lessons.
Behind the church is the toilet for only members to ease themselves. Just beside the toilet is a large area of farmland which members cultivate to cater for the church pastors.
Inside the church, there are five the pillars after the foyer of the building. Then at the middle congregation is an aisle with roses at the side. The pulpit is very large with a black back drop and roses in vases, lined side by side. Beside the pulpit is the mass choir at the right and the pastor's seats at the left.
The church is so large and beautiful and well air conditioned to reduce heat and give members a chill breeze to enjoy. I will always go to my village church.
