Shrines and temples in the ancient city of Ile Ife
Igbo Olokun
Igbo Olokun according to history used to be a wild forest and also sacred one in which the goddess which is called Olokun always worship. Igbo Olokun is in the city of Ile ife who's is in the South west Nigeria, and there is also some history of manufacturing abilities in Western Africa. The recovery of glass beads and other related materials were discovered there. The analysis of this old artifacts shows that the glass manufacturing has been dated a long time. Also according to long-time research, the Igbo olokun could be termed as one of the oldest glass manufacturing workshop in West Africa. The location is not usually shown to people unless being requested because it a sacred place to be.
Oduduwa Shrine and Groove
This shrine is located in Ile ife, Osun state and it's one of the great shrine in Ile ife and in Yoruba land. People offer prayers for blessings and good luck here.
Agbonniregun Temple
The grove of Orunmila who's is the Orisha of knowledge, wisdom and divination. The source of knowledge is believed to be useful in different areas and it's being used and effective for treating so many ailments.Yoruba land is full of rich culture and traditions and this makes it very unique. Ile ife is known to be the cradle of the Yorubas and there are other places of worship.
