The magician

He crawled just like a snail to the great sea where he seek the powers of the earth, Giks was a magician who forcast the future and can perform wonders but this time he was told by the god's not to walk upright but to crawl in the form of a snail to the great sea of Caribbean only then will he finds the answers he seeks.

He put on his white socks, mark his left eye with white chalk and put on his red bangles on his right wrist and off he go, it was one of the difficult tasks Giks had ever performed in the history of his magician's life, but he had to do it so as to fulfill the untold prophesy which has been ringing a bell on his head all day long.

Giks had only one son, before he left on this journey, he told his son Dickson not to cry for him if he could not make it out alive, because he believed until he reached the great sea he would never think of anything else, so his chances of survival was nothing but less.

The prophesy foretold was that, if he make it to the great sea of Caribbean in less than two days all his heart desires would be fulfilled, Giks has been complaining why the god's gave him only one son, he said he needs two or three children's but why did he has only one son, when he is the one given solutions to others people's needs and telling them what they should do inorder for them to have children's to the number they want.

It was something that weakens him even as a magician, he could see future and he can perform magic and wonders but when it comes to his own problems he can not do it for himself, he asked himself questions, till this day he saw a vision in the form of a trance and a voice spoke to him on what he should for him to have more children's.

Giks on his journey became tired, he was unable to fulfilled his heart desires because he could not bear starving himself anymore, he noticed he would not get to the great sea of Caribbean in less than two days because the journey were still far for him, Giks learnt that even as a magician they are things wider than his reach which even him as a magician would not be able attempt to do, he get up on his knees and find his way home.

He regret of taking such tasks and believing it would be a solutions to his problem of not having many Children's, because it was clear to him that he wouldn't make it out alive, right on that moment, he said he would not be a magician anymore, he wished for another life, such that would not make him to be seeing things but would live as a normal human being.

When he got home, he scattered everything he used in performing magic and said from today's henceforth he would not be a magician anymore.
