No sentiremos lo que significa una persona hasta que un día falte en nuestras vidas, por lo que es muy importante pasar tiempo de calidad junto a las personas que nos aman.

Así como lo he mencionado anteriormente, quisiera detener el tiempo y que mi familia siempre se encuentre como en esta época, felices, sanos y llenos de vida, algo que debemos saber valorar, aunque nuestra experiencia en la pandemia hizo que valoremos más este tipo de momentos y también la vida de las personas cercanas a nosotros.

Pienso que un aspecto muy importante para entender el valor del tiempo, es el amor, como lo distribuimos y como lo recibimos.

Vi hace algunos días, un cortometraje navideño que se centraba en la familia, mencionando que la vida es lo que ocurre dentro de cada navidad, entendiendo que este es un momento no solo de unión, también de reflexión, aunque no estemos llenos de lujos ni en una mansión celebrando con champán, debemos ser felices y aprovechar el tiempo para abrazar a nuestros padres una y otra vez.

Sabemos que en un año pueden pasar muchas cosas, no siempre se puede estar sonriente, cosas malas pasan a diario e incluso personas dejan de celebrar estas fechas ante la tristeza de una pérdida o una enfermedad, sin embargo, el motivo para celebrar estas fiestas no debería ser nosotros, deberían ser los demás, no es fácil combatir la tristeza, sin embargo, nada se compara a la sonrisa de los niños o un abrazo reconfortante de tu familia con un "todo saldrá bien", esa es la motivación de estas navidades.

Now, as an adult and a parent, I think about that happy past that I had the privilege to have and I wish to transmit it to my daughter Camila, that she feels that joy that regardless if it is Santa Claus or her parents, that she can smile and play with other children.

A few days ago she said, I want to write my Christmas letter, I told her ok, give me the pencil and the sheet, to which she replied that she wanted to write it, so I helped her to spell her gifts, a bicycle and a Barbie car were her requests to Santa, written with her handwriting and with some bad drawings of her father, a letter that rests on the tree of our home, where begins that hope and joy that distinguishes so much this time of year.

From my personal perspective, the main reason to celebrate this Christmas is my daughter Camila, that she can have valuable memories of her childhood living the joy of Christmas, that would be my main reason to fulfill those traditions that to many seem old-fashioned or unnecessary, but from the eyes of a child are so important.

Another reason that many of us have to celebrate this Christmas, is our family, although it may seem repetitive, we must learn to value these moments, time moves forward and everything changes, in our case life runs out. As I mentioned before, I would like to stop time and that my family is always like this time, happy, healthy and full of life, something that we should know how to value, although our experience in the pandemic made us value more this kind of moments and also the life of the people close to us.

I think that a very important aspect to understand the value of time is love, how we distribute it and how we receive it.

I saw a few days ago, a Christmas short film that focused on the family, mentioning that life is what happens within each Christmas, understanding that this is a time not only of union, also of reflection, although we are not full of luxuries or in a mansion celebrating with champagne, we should be happy and take advantage of the time to hug our parents again and again.
