Cryptocurrency Adoption No Longer A Wish It Is Happening
The future of cryptocurrency is uncertain just like any revolutionary technology at it's infancy but one thing certain is the future gets clearer over time.
For cryptocurrency enthusiasts like myself it is a strong wish having the masses adopt cryptocurrency, get educated over it, appreciate the potentials it offers if implemented rightly for the benefit of all.
With just over fifty days for the year to be over it is safe to say it has been a successful year for the crypto space despite the pandemic which have impacted aspects of life generally.
El Salvador legalizing Bitcoin will always be remembered as one of the highs of 2021. Zimbabwe's government clarifies it has no intention of legalizing Bitcoin as rumors had it the South African nation might be following El Salvador's foot steps, regardless it is an invariable publicity for Bitcoin.
Another move towards adoption I find interesting is Cool Valley Mayor to Airdrop $1000 worth of Bitcoin to the entire City.
We're calling this the Cool Valley Bitcoin Trust. It will sit in this fund for five years, while we give people the education and the onboarding.

Airdroping $1000 worth of BTC to every residents of Cool Valley is one of the most generous known along with education being provided about crypto. Interestingly this is a project being funded by Bitcoin community, a philanthropic side to cryptocurrency.
New York mayor elect Adam's intention to receive his first couple of months paycheck in Bitcoin have been all over the place recently, there's more from the mayor which is just as exciting as the Cool Valley Bitcoin airdrop.

Here again is a move towards educating the masses, the impact of cryptocurrency / blockchain technology curriculum in schools is no brainer.
Cryptocurrency/blockchain adoption is happening before us, it no longer a wish or hopeful thinking, the future is right here and I feel it only gets better from here.
It will be interesting to see what 2022 will be unleashing upon us cryptocurrency/blockchain-wise.

Cryptocurrencies are here and they are here to stay! Of course, there will be a lot of them which will disappear, but blockchain and crypto are here... As one more proof of that is that children are learning about Bitcoin in schools! What proof do we need more, that crypto is already here... It's time to work for it and accumulate :)
