Buenas noches amigos, espero que su día haya estado de lujo. Hoy quiero hablar sobre la importancia del bajo eléctrico dentro de una banda y cual es el trabajo en el cual se desempeña.

El bajo eléctrico es un instrumento de suma importancia dentro de las bandas, o grupos musicales, es un instrumento extremadamente importante para la música en sí.

El bajo eléctrico es un instrumento originalmente armónico y rítmico, pero también puede llegar a ejecutarse de una manera melódica, lo cual resulta totalmente interesante.

Este instrumento trabaja en la clave de FA, por lo cual tiene un rango bastante grave pero también muy amplio, dependiendo de las cuerdas que tenga nuestro bajo podemos acercarnos o llegar a entrar a la totalidad de la clave de Sol, cabe destacar que estos instrumentos vienen en presentación de comerciales de 4, 5 y 6 cuerdas.

Ahora bien, hablemos un poco sobre cual es el trabajo del bajo eléctrico dentro de una banda.

Realmente el trabajo dentro de una banda de música popular, de jazz, de música sinfónica, el trabajo siempre se comprenderá como "Base" ese sustento rítmico junto con los instrumentos de percusión, y también ese instrumento armónico juntamente con el piano, esto hace que el trabajo sea súper interesante, saber que eres la solidez de la banda a nivel rítmico, pero que hay un gran responsabilidad sobre ti en la parte armónico pues es genial.

Hay que recordar que a nivel de armonía las notas del bajo son totalmente determinantes, cuando escuchamos armonía oímos desde los más grabe hasta lo más agudo, nunca al contrario, por tal motivo hay que tener muy claro las notas donde van.

Debe saber de armonía el bajista? Tanto o más como el pianista!

Debe saber de ritmo el bajista? Tanto o más como el baterista.

Que tu trabajo se reduzca a la base, no quiere decir que tu conocimiento debe ser mínimo, al contrario tiene que estar al máximo porque eres la base, eres la mesa donde se va a servir la cena.

Muchos se ha hablado del virtuosismo en el bajo eléctrico, yo no me considero un virtuoso pero si he aprendido a realizar cosas extras a lo que es el trabajo primordial como bajista. He aprendido a improvisar por ejemplo, esto es algo determinante en el mundo del jazz, la improvisación y tener que soltar mano es algo de mucha importancia, pero NO TODO ES JAZZ, así que lo primordial y el trabajo más importante como bajistas y solidificar la base de la banda.
