Three attributes we should possess to make life and living more palatable

A) COMPASSION: Being compassionate involves a show of affection and could also mean being caring. The human race has lost a significant amount of compassion in the pursuit of life's wants and needs. We have been taught that life is like a battleground, and if you are not smart or fast enough, you may get left behind. Would you blame men for struggling to achieve some feats? We have seen equally born men live in affluence and, many times, oppress those who lack it. Thus, the middle and lower classes have viewed life as a competition where an individual who is not on par with or does not strive with fellow humans in attaining the good life has to offer may not succeed. The affluent class has also lost compassion for the less privileged and would rather acquire wealth than spread it to those who lack or have little. I hope we, as human beings, can exercise more compassion for one another.
B) FORGIVENESS: You can guess right: couples, siblings, friends, and even strangers hold grudges against one another for even meager reasons. It is not unusual for fights or struggles to exist in the human race; neither can we prevent offenses, but in all these, humanity should live peaceably, having a mind of forgiveness. The hatred and prolonged anger towards one another have contributed to a lot of backwardness and stagnancy, limiting growth and development among as little as a family nucleus to different tribes and people of a nation. We as human beings keep unnecessary grudges, and the worst is that the person we are holding grudges against may not be aware of his or her crimes. Unforgiveness in itself clouds our minds and prevents clarity of thought, promoting disunity and limiting the scope of expansion.
C) OPENNESS or TRUTHFULNESS: Gradually, the attribute of being open-minded is phasing out, as people would rather keep the truth to themselves than open up to others. Sometimes, people do not open up so as not to hurt their partners, while others keep the truth outright. As much as the truth may hurt, nothing beats the truth. Some words or truths need to be voiced at appropriate times, but never to hide one's true state or nature intentionally, especially for a long time. People have also chosen to reserve their thoughts for fear of being misinterpreted. I do not support lies, but the truth should not be hidden, especially if it would clear some air over lingering issues.
I believe these three attributes would go a long way toward making life and living much better than they are now if we all imbibe them.
Thank you for reading. I would love to have your comments and contributions.
Thank you very much
Compassion can change a lot of things. We all need to be clothed in kindness and empathy. Everyone's going through something. Life is not so easy. And showing compassion is the very little we can do to make living easier for one another.
You're very right, most times, compassion costs us nothing
Compassion is a trait every human should posses, once you are compassionate you treat people better.
You're right, the world would be a much better place to live in
