The autopilot part of me experienced a spontaneous approach
A second part of my life is my clothes. Recently, I sewed two pairs of clothes, and both were because of occasions I was invited to. Other than that, I have managed my wardrobe for a little over two years. My pattern of living as regards clothing is such that I get a good number of clothes for a period of time and forget the need to stock new clothes. Occasionally my body size increases or reduces, just like two months ago when I felt sick and lost some weight. This, however, is not enough reason to opt for new clothes. Hopefully, early next year, I could change my wardrobe and find some less privileged friends I could donate the ones I'm using to.
Each day of my life gets mentally planned out, and oftentimes, beyond the routine of work and home, I have the allowance of visiting a few friends or places as a leisure activity; however, impromptu or spontaneous shifts in my autopilot life are generally not welcomed. I prefer to have my mind prepared for an outing or a visit, and worse is an emergency. This lifestyle is perhaps the reason why I make my purchases at regular and planned intervals, where I purchase in bulk and only need to top up when a few items are exhausted. Perhaps my shoe shopping spree is a mix of both, purchasing in bulk even though it was spontaneous and unplanned.
I practically have an idea of how much I spend each day, knowing fully well that I do not buy what I do not need. I sometimes do not leave the house with money or an ATM card, and I prefer to have my account balance at zero or near zero. That way, I also do not have the push to source money to spend spontaneously.
Personally, I prefer the autopilot life; however, the mind plays the game of wanting some things spontaneously, and like I fell into the trap of a recent shopping spree, we may free our minds occasionally into a spontaneous lifestyle, which oftentimes will not be routine.
Thank you for reading through. I would love to hear your comments and contributions.
ALL IMAGES ARE MINE
I am fairly organised, and I tend to know what my daily routine is, in terms of achieving specific tasks. However, I'm never on autopilot. I need to be spontaneous, and I'm always evaluating the necessity and relevance of my actions, and also assessing whether the things I do bring me joy:)
Thanks for your #KISS
I enjoyed it 😉
lips sealed
Thank you very much.
Being spontaneous is admirable but like you said, it's imperative to be able to balance up with what is necessary and relevant so as to achieve some degree of joy and satisfaction.
Being monotonous can be boring also 😂
100% :)
Buying as it was budget for is the one I will take, so that I will still be in check with my personal life.
Thank you for your kind comment. Occasionally, a spontaneous approach may be necessary
Welcome dear friend
I like accounting for every expenses at all times, making sure to be in check and not extravagant And I must make sure I get value doing the things I love 💕.
That's a beautiful lifestyle, occasionally it's good to be spontaneous
