ESP Turn Up - My Actifit Report Card: September 7 2021

Today, on a Turn it up Tuesday; was an Endurance, Strength and Power template at Orangetheory Fitness.

Tiffany and I burned splats at our home studio OTF Nona North.

It was three days in a row where I ran, although today was a bit uneven with my endurance and adjusting speeds was uncomfortable finding the comfortable speeds I found the first 2 days.

After running for years without issues and then having to deal with my first hamstring injury has been an interesting comeback.

Not to mention, Tiffa and I have a 5K this Saturday and wonder how my leg is going react with the impact on concrete and tar.

Feeling confident thought 👍🏽

This was the template we burned splats to:

Floor Block 1 - 14 mins

• 600m row, 10 squat jacks • 400m row, 10 squat jacks • 200m row, 10 squat jacks

• 8 x each side bosu single leg lunge with dumbbell • 16 x alternating pop squats • 8 x each side bosu split leg crunches

Repeat floor until time (no rower repeat)

Floor Block 2 - 7.5 mins

• 8x dumbbell ‘Stick it’ squat (3 sec hold) • 8 x bosu burpees • 16 x extensions on bosu • 16 x bosu plank with leg lift

Tread Block 1 - 14 mins

• 90 sec push • 45 sec base • 90 sec push • 1 min base • 90 sec push • 90 sec base • 90 sec push • 1 min base • 90 sec push • 45 sec base • 1 min push • 30 sec AO

Tread Block 2 - 7.5 mins

• 90 sec push • 45 sec base • 90 sec push • 1 min base • 90 sec push • 45 sec base • 30 sec AO

Customary Rest Day tomorrow, but I’ll make sure to be active enough at home to generate them Actifit points ✋🏽
