Hewow~ Is everyone enjoying their weekend? Here is another Saturday blog of mine~
It is just me being spontaneous on a Saturday. I do not like my free time to be scheduled or to be rushed. So, in this article, I will mention some of my Saturday highlights~

My Saturday Highlights~
Kamote Fries
This was my snack last Saturday. I think they are in season right now. I googled it and found out that sweetpotatoes or kamote in Tagalog are in season from late August to early November. This root crop is generally healthier than potatoes since it has more benefits. It was bought by my dad in the morning because he was craving for the steamed one. He said that it is best when paired with coffee.
Because me being indecisive about my choice of dips, I just put them on one plate, haha! A mixture of cheese sauce, banana ketchup, and mayonnaise.
Supermarket Trip
In the afternoon, I went to the supermarket to buy some stuff. I ran out of toiletries and I want to buy some kutkutin (small snacks) like crackers, chocolates,etc. The market is not that far from our house so I just walk. Also, I sit all day so this is a good workout for me, haha!
What a bummer, I forgot to take pictures while I was roaming around the supermarket. Ugh, maybe next time I will be able to take some pics. I decided to stop by our relative's house. Just saying hello and updating each other.
Dream Kitchen/ House Renovation
This is my relative's future kitchen. They have been working so hard to build their dream kitchen.
In the Philippines, in a household, usually, we have two kitchens.We have a normal kitchen and a dirty kitchen. The normal kitchen is usually inside of the house. It is used to cook food that is not pungent or has a strong smell. On the other hand, a dirty kitchen is usually outside the house. Usually used for fire safety and for food that has a strong smell. You do not like your house to smell like fish all day.
Okay, it is getting dark now, I should head home...
A Peculiar, Old House
On the way home, I took a photo of this white house with a red gate. I remember that we used to make stories about this house because back then, this kind of house is big already. We were taught that a rich vampire was the owner of the house. Kids are very scared and never dared to get near to it, haha!
Now that I am an adult, I just laugh at those stories. The truth is, the owner of the house is a family friend of ours. One time, they visited our house and gave my mom some plants. It is very thoughtful of them. We are still family friends up to this day, and we are so glad we are friends through thick and thin.
Last Night, Game Night

Last night I downloaded Mobile Legends. My virtual friends go crazy on this game. I only have a small knowledge of this game and I want to learn how to play it. The navigation is very easy but still, some of the features are hard to understand on my end. Thankfully, my friends are there to help me throughout the game. We played two rounds, 1 win and 1 lose. Good game.
After that, I felt sleepy and went to bed.

Whoa! Actually, we cooked sweetened Camote awhile ago as our snacks this afternoon together with some fish balls and kikiam.
Yeah, we Pinoy's love kitchen. We have two kitchen as well. One, inside our house, and the second one is located outside for some major cooking or something.
Weekend ends tonight and new week will come.
Aww, I craved when you said Kikiam and fish ball. I like the sweet and sour sauce and lots of onion. Yum!

We also made up stories about a certain house here in our street haha, I guess that's how we imagine things when we're kids no? I remember we thought they're also vampires kasi they seldom go out of their house. Truth is, they're a family of doctors and nurses haha kaya bihira namin makita lumabas ng bahay kasi madalas nasa hospital. Lol. Good old days!

It has happened to me that I also forget to take pictures of the things I do because I concentrate on what I'm doing. Then, like you, I regret it.
Excellent idea about having two kitchens, I hadn't heard of that. I will keep that in mind when I build my house jj. Excellent Saturday. Cheers.

Bigla ako nagcrave sa camote HAHAHA. Pero ang dami mo sauce 🥲. Nakakahiya siguro if ever dumaan mayari ng bahay tas you were talking that the one who lives in the house was a vampire 🤣, matatawa nalangbsiguro ung owner while kinukwento ung narinig nya 🤣
Di kasi ako makapagdecide sis kung ano ba sauce ko haha kaya nilagay ko na lang lahat sa isang platito 😆

Hahahahaha natawa naman ako sa kwento ng mayamang bampira. Naalaka ko lang din noon madalas panakot samin ng mga magulang namin ang mga ganyang kwento. Aswang aswang, pero hindi naman pala totoo kaya ngayong matanda na ako, natatawa nalang din talaga ako pag naaalala ko yun.
Kaya now that we are adults, tawanan na lang ang mga kwentong ganyan haha!
Reading this around 3am like right now, scared me 😂 I'm the only one awake at this hour, but a relief since they are just a family friend 🤣 phew!
