Happy Friday! 🥳

When Ikea opened in the Philippines, it gave different excitement for everybody because this global brand is known for selling aesthetic furniture. If I am not mistaken, this is the biggest store in the world. This is adjacent to the biggest mall in the country too.

Let me show you some of their Showrooms. 😁

It is easy to get confused and be lost here. 😅 Good thing they have pointing arrows for guidance. Best to visit on weekends to avoid the crowd.

This room is a combination of pastel colors. Pink shades on the painting complement the mustard yellow throw pillow on a neutral gray couch.

Not a fan of the uber-white center table, hehe. It looks plain and simple to me.

I was about to get one of these but my friend told me that they easily get cracked. She said that when it is exposed to heat, there is a chance that it might get cracks. Hmm, I guess I will just buy the real ones haha.

This is more I like it! 😁 I like the color palette but it is a bit masculine for me.

However, it can be toned down by exchanging the couch for a non-leather, gray one. The standing lamp and deep green armchair work for me.

I thought these chairs were for kids. 😅 Primary colors are not my thing but perhaps can change the vibe when incorporated with neutral shades.

I love the hanging lights here. Nice for outdoors or movie time. It gives the room a cozy vibe. 😁

I am guessing this is a Swedish design assuming by the Nordic style of the dining table and cutleries.

The joy of having acrylic organizers! The dream of every accessory-girlie. 🥰 I already have these, but different sizes. For me, the price is over my budget. For PHP 790 (14 USD), I can get three sets on Lazada or Shopee (online shopping platforms).

Did someone mess the sheets up? Or is it the design? Haha. The pattern is simple without giving me a headache. A minimal design and a maximum of two colors is fine. The purpose afterall of a bed is for sleeping and relaxation, right? 😁

I am still 50/50 about the rattan aesthetic. I like the rattan coffee table but I am thinking of the maintenance of this furniture.

Looks perfect for outdoors or vacation houses. 🌴

I am a sucker for L-shaped couches. 😁 I imagine myself lying here while watching a nice movie.

Not so much of a carpet girlie just because again, another maintenance to the house, haha. Also, the Philippines is all year round in Summer. The chandelier is giving a UFO vibe ✨

My dream for my room is to have an adjustable table. My back is hurting because of sitting all day.

It is not also healthy to have a stiff posture for a long time. This L-shape is perfect for a corner. I might change the light wood to a darker one.

More office chairs are on display. Not suitable with a constant aching back like me. 😅

That computer stand is so 2000 to me. 😆 We used to have this back then when our computer was still shared. The Internet was a wack back then. Crazy to think that we cannot live without the internet today, haha.

Calling all the Swifties! 💜✨ I found a Taylor Swift-inspired room! For sure this is the most pictured bed display here in Ikea.

Plushies! 🦈🐼 Do not bring your kids here! 😆 They are so soft and cuddly~ 💖

We looked around for an hour and still did not cover the whole floor. As I said, easy to get lost but there were staff on almost all the corners so we just asked the exit way.

On the affordability, furniture like beds, chairs, and tables have reasonable prices. But when it comes to small items such as organizers, dispensers, etc., for me, I can canvas online a cheaper price version with the same function and grade.

A lot to see, a lot to break --even your wallet! 😆 The place is enticing to buy stuff that you do not really need. Whatever Ikea's floor plan is, their marketing scheme is working.

My take is, that if I am going to buy something aesthetically pleasing to the eyes, Ikea is a go-to. But when it comes to quality furniture for long-term use, I will pass.

Since the furniture is affordable, the quality will adjust. Simple as that. And evidently, some of our furniture from Ikea did not last long.
