Art Process

I have not drawn Ocean Healer for a while. 😁 I try to draw the healers and creatures alternatively. Speaking of creatures, I am excited for more of what is coming! 😁

I rough sketched in red lineart and then on another layer, I worked on the lineart. Next, I applied the base colors on different layers to make it easier for me to identify them separately.

I applied the cell shadows by using a solid pencil in a multiply mode layer. To get the radiant effect, I combined orange, yellow, and blue. On the hoodie, I applied some shadows using the airbrush.

Intensifying the colors by adding a pop of purple on the clothing and on the hair.

Adding the shines was fun! Using a flat brush, airbrush, and smudge brush, I added the highlights on the hair and clothing.

Final Art

On the final proces,, I experimented a little bit of the the filter. I wanted to created a chromatic abberation. It is easy to do this filter surprisingly! I found a tutorial on Youtube on how to achieve this filter on CSP. 😁 Lastly, adding some noise filter.
