The magic of hugging with a security blanket
Cuando me entero que un bebé viene en camino, se activan en mi corazón un cúmulo de emociones, de sentimientos. La magia de la ternura invita a la creatividad y entre ambas comienzan a orquestarse en mi mente un sin fin de ideas que se puedan materializar en un regalo hermoso que abrigue a un pequeñín.
Por lo general, hago empatía con los padres, con la alegría que experimentan ante el recibimiento del maravilloso milagro de la vida, un hijo, me identifico con sus gustos con respecto al bebé; esa empatía con los padres y lo que voy sintiendo da origen a la idea que voy a comenzar a desarrollar usando hilo y ganchillo.
When I find out that a baby is on the way, an accumulation of emotions and feelings are activated in my heart. The magic of tenderness invites creativity and between the two, an endless number of ideas begin to orchestrate in my mind that can materialize in a beautiful gift that shelters a little one.
In general, I empathize with the parents, with the joy they experience when they receive the wonderful miracle of life, a child, I identify with their tastes regarding the baby; that empathy with the parents and what I feel gives rise to the idea that I will begin to develop using yarn and crochet.
En ese ir y venir de ideas, me llegan ideas de tejer escarpines, baberos, medias, jumper, vestidos de niñas, mantas para abrigar, mantas de seguridad, gorros (me encantan tejer gorros para bebés, es que lucen tan hermosos con ellos). También me vienen ideas de diademas, amigurrumis y mucho más.
En esta ocasión, les mostraré dos mantas de apegos que realicé para un primito hijo de una prima muy querida y para la beba de unos grandes y muy queridos amigos que están en España.
In that coming and going of ideas, I get ideas for knitting booties, bibs, socks, jumpers, dresses for girls, blankets for warmth, security blankets, hats (I love knitting hats for babies, they look so beautiful with them). I also come up with ideas for headbands, amigurrumis and much more.
On this occasion, I will show you two two security blanket that I made for a little cousin son of a very dear cousin and for the baby of some great and very dear friends who are in Spain.
He descubierto que me gusta mucho tejer mantas de apego o mantas de seguridad, por varias razones: Se vuelve el primer juguete del niño, lo cual me encanta, ser protagonista de ese hecho me hace sentir muy importante, es una forma de darle amor y abrazar al bebé a través de una manta. Otra razón, es la cara de felicidad de los padres, de ver la ternura que representa la manta de apego y el apoyo que le va dar al bebé en su relación con el mundo, en la compañía que esta manta le dará al bebé cundo el bebé no esté en los brazos de sus padres.
Otra razón por la que me gusta tejer mantas de apego, es que comienzo tejiendo la cara de un amigurrumi (es un muñeco tejido), eso es fascinante, luego el cuerpo es un vestido sin relleno, que representa una parte de una manta
I have discovered that I really enjoy knitting security blanket, for several reasons: It becomes the child's first toy, which I love, being the protagonist of that fact makes me feel very important, it is a way to give love and embrace the baby through a blanket. Another reason is the happy face of the parents, to see the tenderness that the attachment blanket represents and the support that it will give to the baby in his relationship with the world, in the companionship that this blanket will give to the baby when the baby is not in the arms of its parents.
Another reason why I like to knit security blanket, is that I start by knitting the face of an amigurrumi (it is a knitted doll), that is fascinating, then the body is a dress without stuffing, which represents a part of a blanket.
Lo que más disfruto cuando hago estos regalos de mantas de apego o de seguridad, es las fotos y videos que me envían los padres. Me da una ternura indescriptible, como lo que he imaginado y luego he tejido abriga y distrae a ese pedacito de cielo que vino a acompañarnos en este mundo, que maravilloso es poder regalar y más aún más maravilloso es ver el disfrute de quien recibe y de su entorno.
Celebro con todo mi corazón estos mensaje: "la nueva amiga de Valeria, le estamos buscando un nombre" "Santi se quiere comer la cabeza del payasito, no lo quiere soltar".
Seguiré tejiendo y seguramente seguiré abrazando con mis creaciones a muchos más bebés💗.
What I enjoy most when I make these gifts of attachment or security blankets, is the photos and videos that parents send me. It gives me an indescribable tenderness, as what I have imagined and then I have knitted shelters and distracts that little piece of heaven that came to accompany us in this world, how wonderful it is to be able to give and even more wonderful is to see the enjoyment of the recipient and their environment.
I celebrate with all my heart these messages: "Valeria's new friend, we are looking for a name for her" "Santi wants to eat the little clown's head, he doesn't want to let go".
I will continue knitting and I will surely continue to embrace many more babies with my creations💗.

Mantas de apego!!! Siempre me han parecido adorables aunque nunca he tejido una, creo que le tengo resistencia a los grannys.
La manta de apego en forma de duende es bellísima y los bebés que aparecen en las fotos son una ternurita!
