Crochet - Dachshund bookmark

Y sigo tejiendo para mis obsequios navideños. En esta ocasión les comparto cómo realicé un marca páginas de dachshund para mi sobrinita amada, mi sobrina mayor.

And I continue knitting for my Christmas gifts. On this occasion I share with you how I made a dachshund bookmark for my beloved little niece, my oldest niece.

Mi sobrina amada es super consentida, todo el que le conoce se queda prendado de su personalidad chispeante y mágica. Ella tiene una perrita de la raza dachshund, mejor conocida como perro salchicha. Ella dice que su cachorra es su hija y yo soy su tía. Ella adora a su hijita perruna, su hijita se llama Eva Luna.

Como sé del amor que mi sobrina siente por Eva, decidí hacerle un marca página alusivo a la raza de la cachorra.

My beloved niece is super spoiled, everyone who meets her falls in love with her sparkling and magical personality. She has a dachshund dog, better known as a sausage dog. She says her puppy is her daughter and I am her aunt. She adores her little dog daughter, her little daughter's name is Eva Luna.

As I know the love my niece feels for Eva, I decided to make a bookmark alluding to the breed of the puppy.

Una vez seleccionado el proyecto, paso a una parte que me encanta, seleccionar los hilos. Tengo varios colores marrones en diferentes tipos de, me decanté por el marrón en algodón, me parece que se le acercaba más al color de la raza dachshund. También seleccioné el color rosado, que lo usaría para hacer collar.

Once the project is selected, I move on to a part that I love, selecting the threads. I have several brown colors in different types of, I opted for the brown in cotton, I think it was closer to the color of the dachshund breed. I also selected the pink color, which I would use to make a necklace.

Seguidamente sobre una cadeneta de 40, tejí cuarenta puntos bajos, realicé tres vueltas con esa secuencia.

Next, on a chain of 40, I knit forty single crochets, making three rows with that sequence.

Esta parte me encantó, el hecho de haber tejido la colita haciendo cinco cadentetas adicionales y tejiendo sobre esa cadeneta cinco punto deslizados. Luego tejí las patitas, haciendo tres cadenetas y tejiendo sobre ella dos puntos deslizados. Es que con el tejido podemos hacer cualquier cosa, ya en este punto se podía visualizar claramente el cuerpo de la cachorra, eso es extraordinario.

I loved this part, the fact that I had knitted the tail by making five additional chains and knitting five slipped stitches over that chain. Then I knitted the legs, making three chains and knitting two slipped stitches over it. The thing is that with the fabric we can do anything, at this point we could clearly see the puppy's body, that is extraordinary.

Seguidamente la cabeza y la orejita.

Para la cabezita, tejí cinco puntos bajos sobre el cuerpo y a partir de allí tejí tres vueltas en ida y vueltas, en total tres vueltas.

Para la orejita tejí un anillo mágico, en el anillo mágico tejí tres puntos bajos, tres puntos altos y luego tres puntos bajo, esa la secuencia. Luego ubiqué y cosí la orejita en la cabeza.

Finalmente tejí sobre el cuello del Dachshund en color rosado el collar, este momento resultó delirante ver cómo iba quedando el resultado.

Next the head and the ear.

For the little head, I knit five single crochets on the body and from there I knit three rounds back and forth, a total of three rounds.

For the ear I knitted a magic ring, in the magic ring I knit three single crochets, three double crochets and then three single crochets, that's the sequence. Then I located and sewed the ear onto the head.

Finally I wove the collar on the Dachshund's neck in pink, at this moment it was delirious to see how the result turned out.

Estoy satisfecha con el resultado, quedo muy ansiosa de ver la carita de mi sobrina cuando abra sus regalos de Navidad y entre ellos, se consiga este marca libro, va a pegar un grito de alegría de lo conmovida que va quedar.

Es maravilloso poder hacer algo con mis manos y que pueda sorprender a alguien que amo, es que los regalos tejidos a mano llevan algo adicional, el amor impreso en cada puntada.

I am satisfied with the result, I am very eager to see my niece's face when she opens her Christmas gifts and among them, she gets this bookmark, she is going to scream with joy because of how moved she will be.

It's wonderful to be able to make something with my hands and surprise someone I love. Hand-knitted gifts carry something additional, love printed in each stitch.
