An intarsia crochet bib

Desde la semana pasada estoy enfocada en dominar la técnica intarsia crochet, siempre he querido dibujar con colores o pinturas, pero no se me da muy bien. Con intarsia crochet se me abre un universo de posibilidades para dibujar, en este caso dibujaré intercambiando colores de hilos usando el ganchillo, esto para mí es fascinante, mágico e invocador. Poder dibujar usando y tejido, es asombrosamente fantástico.

Como les he comentado, me encanta tejer para bebé y como siempre he querido tejer un babero, me decidí a realizar el babero usando intarsia crochet, para tejer este babero usé el patrón de corazón.

Por otro lado, para este babero, utilicé hilos de algodón, tijeras, marcador de puntos y aguja lanera. Como este resultado lo usará una bebé, es altamente recomendable que los hilos a usar sean de algodón.

As I have told you, I love to knit for babies and since I have always wanted to knit a bib, I decided to make the bib using intarsia crochet, to knit this bib I used the heart pattern.

On the other hand, for this bib, I used cotton threads, scissors, a stitch marker and a blunt yarn needle. As this result will be used by a baby, it is highly recommended that the threads to be used are cotton.

Comencé este babero haciendo una cadeneta. Es importante mencionar, para este babero, para realizar el corazón en intarsia, solo me guío por el patrón, para el resto del babero el patrón estaba en mi mente 🙂.

Seguidamente tejí una vuelta en puntos bajos y otra en medios puntos altos. Repetir esta hasta completar 14 filas.

A partir de ahora si usaré el patrón, justo para hacer corazón en intarsia. El patrón indica que se inicia con una cadeneta de 20, para el babero, la cadeneta es de 36, por lo cual busqué el centro de la fila y allí comencé a tejer el corazón.

Por otro lado, coloqué el marcador de puntos para indicar que ese será el derecho de la labor, en intarsia crochet es importante conocer cuál es el derecho y el revés.
