I get a lot of arguments when I talk to people about crypto and they say they aren't interested because it's synonymous to gambling. I try to explain the difference but they remain resolute that as far as it's staking money on a possibility and not an actuality, it's gambling.

And yet you earned money just now without staking anything on this comment.
Go figure.
People will not understand that crypto is not gambling until they actually participate in the community aspect and see that all kinds of other things are going on behind the casino's surface. Is building a borehole in Ghana "gambling"? What about providing access to dollars by proxy using HBD? People are ignorant... that's just the way it is. These things take time to materialize.
But thereafter you'll hear things like " I wish I knew about this sooner." Like with Bitcoin and all of that but no one is willing to take the risks needed.
We hope people are able to see the value of crypto, and not just when it's too late and everything has skyrocketed.
Yeah well the running theme of crypto is that it's supposed to be fair and getting in early before everyone else shouldn't be a requirement. Whether that thread is accurate is yet to be determined.
